Dues settlement phone call -- Scam?

Semi topic related, there is a streamer named KitBoga that just messes with scammers, he's basically a voice actor and does different voices and acts like hes different people, the videos are pretty hilarious.

Yeah he is very fun to watch. But just like everything else you see on TV/the internet, it's best to not try it at home. Too easy to give the scammer information they shouldn't have even when jerking their chain. And you've just told them you're a real person with a real phone number who answers the call - maybe the next one will fool you. Not worth it; just hang up.

The Iast one called me a b*tch and hung up. I took him on a rollercoaster ride for 25 mins acting like I was going to the bank and giving him thousands of dollars
The only thing I’ll throw out there is that these people are criminals and some of them can be dangerous. Some of the Timeshare Exit Scam Companies are controlled by Mexican Drug Cartels. (Link: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/21/world/americas/mexico-timeshare-fraud-cartel.html). While “professionals” like Kit Boga do this in a safe manner, I don’t know that I would do this as an individual when this other person has all my contact information.

I mean if they want to make the trek up to Michigan, I suppose they can, but they probably have better things to do than to go after someone who jerked them around on the phone for ten minutes.
