It's hard to give opinions when you've never heard the songs before. I don't know what they are "supposed" to sound like. But I think Brooke sounds pretty darn good. I'm enjoying it. I wouldn't say it's amazing...but it's decent.

Dolly's awesome, and that was a good choice for Brooke. I'd like to sit and listen to her do a whole show. Not a showy voice, but an honest and heartfelt storyteller.

I think Brooke has more "folk" potential though. But she could definitely do country too.
