Have you seen Ian on "Tell me you Love me"? It was on HBO and you see a WHOLE lot more of him than you ever did on Lost. I honestly didn't recognize him at first until I saw his name in the credits and then started to watch for him.

I think it is fair to expect there to be a thread to discuss the singers and the show, and not have that thread co-op'ed for personal discussions that have nothing to do with either. I think having two threads satisfies both needs.

You may not see the issue, and I'm not surprised if you're interested in those side conversations. However, others don't like it, and nor do I. Please don't dismiss our concerns because you don't share them.

BTW: I'm part of those "same people year after year" -- I'm not "new people".

we did the same thing with the other two threads. and there's a mod and a webmaster that both frequent this thread, and they don't seem to care, because we always get back on topic.

start your own idol thread then, if you see a problem. my gosh....it's just the internet! how do you handle situations in real life??

I dont like the fans up front either its distracting and the background singers need to be quieted.

i don't like the fans upfront, either. remember when they idols could go out into the audience and sing?? i really liked that...they can't do that now.

you DO know that on the album, that "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" is one track, right??

so if you want to get technical, he just sang the beginning, then went into the second half of the song.

For a minute I thought you were saying this season of Supernatural was awful... I was ready to slap some sense into you. That last episode with Lilith was great. I can't wait until April 24th when the new shows come on. I can't remember, does AI change the day for it's final show like Survivor does? If it wasn't for my DVR, I'd miss the final Survivor everytime since they have it on Sundays.

oh i TOTALLY said this season of Supernatural was awful. it was. there was about 3 episodes, total, that i've liked so far. i was so bored with this whole entire season. this is NOT the show i started watching 3 years ago. honestly, if the show had started out in the first season how it is now, i never would have bothered with it. get those two twits off the show, bring back the ACTUAL reoccuring characters that the audience likes, and get back to the scary stories! i mean really now.....a rabbit's foot......A RABBIT'S FOOT!? what the heck is scary about that?!?! and no, it wasn't "funny" either, i laughed twice thru that whole episode.

David Cook: Seriously, he's AMAZING! And you all need to back off because I was the only one on here in the beginning of the season who loved him. Seriously, go back and read my posts in the first American Idol thread I loved him from his audition, really loved him during Hollywood week, and looked forward to seeing him every week during the semi-finals. Then he has a few awesome weeks and everyone jumps on the bandwagon! He's amazing at everything he does and he's going FAR. As much as I still don't think he should win for his own sake, I have a feeling he's the true dark horse to win and surprise both the entire teenybopper population across America AND all the cynics who felt that Carly was set to win from the beginning. And maybe it wouldn't be so bad since the winner goes on the Today Show and my dad works at NBC so I wouldn't mind hanging out with him backstage for a while... Go David!

I was on line with a SLEW of David Cook fans, Michael Johns lusters and two Carly 13 yo fans! I met a 70yo man who is a BIG David Cook fan and took time to tell us all why!

I love David Cook. But I can understand why some people might not like him. I think I'm probably in the minority for hating (yes HATING) Daughtry's music.
