I loved Carrie last night and also thought Vonzell and Nadia were good. I was lol about Simon's "pick-up" line. I am still really trying to figure out if he meant what I think he meant.

Yep It is what you thought it meant. I think she was a little embarrassed too.

There's a few other girls that I'm not quite willing to write off just yet. I got the impression that they were nervous and holding back but next week will tell. So far, the guys do appeal to me much more though.

I really don't understand all the hoopla about carrie....she's like another carmen rasmussen to me. oh well, to each their own. i really have no clue who will be going tonight...sarah and celena maybe? i'd say jahnay but i think she will get some sympathy votes (remember jasmine trias?) as long as bo and nadia don't go, i think i'll be happy. i have to say, i wouldn't mind mikahlya staying in for a while, she's annoying, but she's funny. just as long as she doesn't make it to the top 3.

I found it amusing that the girl looked horrified that an old man like Simon was hitting on her. Serves him right, the old coot, it gave me the heebie jeebies to think about.

Okay, granted she's 23 and he's 45, but he's by no means an "old coot"! Or maybe it's just that now I'm 39, 45 doesn't seem that old!

LOL, if I were 23, Simon would definately be an old coot.

As it is, I'm 40 and I think Simon is an old coot. Yes, he is only 5 years older than me. I say that because I think its lecherous and creepy when a man who is in his 40's is salivating over a young woman barely into adulthood.

I also liked how he insinuated that Paula was 50 last night. He better start looking in his own mirror, because he sure looks a lot closer to 50 than Paula does.

Simon takes himself and his perceived greatness far too seriously for my tastes.

I noticed the same thing too. I found it particularly striking with Aloha, because of the dress she was wearing. At one point she looked to me like a pregnant woman whose water had just broken! Knees bent, legs apart, leaning forward slightly, poofy dress that didn't show her form at all and kind of ballooned out in the front when she leaned forward...

OMG! You've got me rolling!

And the fact that the little jean jacket looked absurd with the dress......

PLEASE tell me this was just a joke ! Carmen couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, so I don't see the comparison at ALL.

If I had of voted last night, I would have cast a vote for Carrie, Nadia, Celena, Mikaylah and Jessica. I wrote their names down this time so I could call them by their names than just a number.

I agree with a previous poster about the girl's standing with their legs "way" apart while wearing a dress. Just doesn't look right. And something about Aloha just bugs me. I like Mikaylah and her nonsense far better.

And is Aloha's flower mean the same as it did to Jasmine? from last season?

I totally agree. Carment NEVER should have made it as far as she did. But Carrie, CAN sing, and should go far!

Well from last night's episode, I definitely think the guys are a lot better this year. There are still a few girls I like. I definitely think Carrie did the best out of anyone last night, and I know she will go very far in this competition. And I know a lot of people won't like me for this, but I still like Mikayla. I don't find her annoying yet, and I think she could go far if she toned it down a little bit, so people wouldn't hate her as much. I also liked Lindsay, Vonzell and Nadia. Other than that I wouldn't mind to see any of the others go home tonight.

I also think that Janay should be one of the one's going home tonight because she looked absolutely terrified singing last night! I just can't imagine how she would be in front of the large audience they have when it comes down to the top 12!

i meant that i think they are both dull as paste...just my opinion. felt that way about kimberly caldwell too. there's still time for me to change my mind about carrie though, hopefully i will warm up to her. everyone seems to adore her so i guess she'll be around a while.

ShuisFan, i agree that jahnay should go home - but i think her nervousness will win her sympathy votes. i wish there was a line you could call to vote AGAINST someone, i think the results would be very different then!

I was just thinking the same thing. Carmen sounded like a goat to me and I did not like her at all. Carrie, on the other hand, has an amazing voice and I predict she is going to go really far in the competition.

Someone said that people would probably like Mikalah more if she toned it down a bit. I agree that she would be less annoying, but I still wouldn't like her. I don't think she can sing on top of everything else. I just pray she goes home tonight. I can't stand the thought of watching her again!

I would love to see a DIFFERENT type of person win this thing. Bo, Constantine, Anwar, now those guys are AI material. The girls have not really hit me yet.
