I really feel for those poor folks, they get their emotions played on so much during the elimination show.

I can't believe Melinda used the "I didn't get enough air time" card! She left because her performance last night was awful!! Not because she didn't get enough "air time". And then Paula let her get away with saying that just to make her feel better. Ugh!

But what they did to Judd tonight was just wrong! I felt so bad for him.

i agree! it was SO hard to watch Milena sing, she was crying so hard. although i would have rather seen celena, joe, and jahnay go tonight, the people that did go were not people i would miss....EXCEPT judd. i am really sad about that i thought he was a lot of fun and really liked his voice. and i admired that he chose a risky song and did it well. i assumed he'd be ok so i focused my voting on bo and scott....you never can tell!!

That was so mean..when he told the bottom row guys to just relax I figured they were safe...that was mean!!
And I can NOT believe that MIKALAH is still there...UGGGGGGGGGG

Last season I was cheering as some were voted off. I think this season is going to be more painful to watch. There is quite a bit of talent there

I have to say, I'm not too sad about the vote-off choices. I really thought Janay was going, but America thought differently.

My two favorites, Amanda and Anwar are still in the game, so I'm happy so far.

I agree about Melinda playing the "not enough exposure" card - sore loser if you ask me.

i said it before and i'll say it again....Janay = Sympathy Vote

i don't think we can really judge melinda on what she said tonight. did you see her face after she was told she was going home? she was completely mute for about 2 minutes. i think it was all the poor girl could do to keep from bursting into tears....ah, tis a harsh show.

Tis a harsh show indeed. If you enter it, be prepared for the harsh realities - if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I don't like the way AI does this Wed vote off. I hate that the contestants and viewers hang on and on and on. Do it like a bandaid - just rip it right off! Ryan may be reading a script but comes across as callous. I felt for Melinda when you said "Melinda, you're out!" It sounded soo mean. She really looked stunned and it was no wonder since she probably figured it was Janay as well since she was awful last night.

I was surprised that Sarah was booted. Not that she was particularly good last night but because she is pretty attractive and that has worked in past AI shows.

I really can not believe that Janae is not out - she was HORRIBLE!! I thought Sarah performed really well even if her singing wasn't top notch

and although I thought Melinda shouldn't have complained about her lack of exposure - when she made it through to the final 12 I said to my DH - who is that? That should not have mattered though - if she was good last night - people would have voted for her - I think a lot of people wait to tune in now anyway!!

I was not at all surprised that Jared or Sarah got cut. I was guessing they would and was glad. I didn't think Judd would be the one to go, but don't mind. I won't really miss him anyway. As far as Melinda, I'll admit that was the biggest shock for me. I didn't think she was great, but I sure didn't think she was the worst one last night. I really thought it would be either Mikalah (okay, I was PRAYING it would be MIKALAH! Ugh!) or Janay. I think that Melinda should have at least been on for one more week, but oh, well. I am just glad that all of my favorites are still in...for now anyway!

OK guys - so now it's time for your predictions for next week's cuts -

Granted, we haven't heard them perform, so we're just going on our hunches:

I say Scott and Travis - Scott because, well, he's Scott and he isn't a looker (not that it should matter, but it's just a hunch) and Travis because he just doesn't seem to be keeping up with the rest.

I also say Janay (because I thought she deserved to go this week) and Mikayla (because I'm hoping she goes because she grates on my last undamaged multiple sclerosisized nerve).

I am SO glad that Celena made it through but now she needs to perform. No more fear or caution!

I am a little surprised by who got voted off tonight. I didn't expect Jared or Melinda to go.

I felt really bad for that Melinda girl. She wasn't even able to talk for the first minute or so and you could hear her crying as she was singing. What she said was true though, about how everyone already had they're favorites. People already knew that some of the contestants were good because they've heard them before, and if they didn't do their best, they would still have their fans to vote for them. She didn't have any fan base yet, because no one knew who she was.

And what they did to Judd was just horrible! He went through that whole line of guys and the bottom row all thought they were safe, and then he just goes "Judd you're out."

There were definitely other people that did worse that could have gotten voted off, but I wasn't upset because none of them were people I was really exited about.
