Bo - Solid performance once again....

49 minutes, 8 singers & 5 drinks into the show... and Paula's eyes are starting to glass up....

I actually enjoyed Bo--the ballads were lulling me to sleep (Can't miss AR).

So much out their on Broadway over the years--I am NOT impressed with the song choices.

Anwar actually impressed me for once.

7. Anwar-- "If Ever I Would Leave You"-- A little pitchy in a few spots. Pretty good, but not his best. One of the better singers tonight, though.

8. Bo-- Not sure of the song title-- Not one of his best performances. I usually like Bo, but tonight he sounds a bit off-key. Maybe it's the song choice.

Vonzell was excellent as well. Carrie didn't "wow" me. The rest....eh.

Nadia - wowza... sultry, timeless... one of the best this evening imo...

Overall I was not impressed with any of the song choices... too many ballads...

Didn't think that was Bo's best performance. I think Constantine out did him again tonight. Nadia sounds great tonight! She looks so elegant.

I think the bottom 3 this week should be Scott, Anthony & Nikko.

9. Nadia-- "As Long As He Needs Me"-- Nadia looks very elegant tonight; love the dress! Terrific performance from start to finish-- the best tonight, IMHO!

I think Nadia and Carrie gave the best performances tonight. (I also noticed that Paula was getting a little glassy-eyed toward the end of the hour. Maybe it's all these years of having to listen to Simon !)

YEAH! Anwar is back! I loved his singing! Thought it was excellent! I am not a huge Nadia fan but I thought she nailed it.
Constantine....I can't believe I am saying this but I am warming up to him....I don't think he is hte strongest voice, and talent but I am starting (just a little) to understand why people like him so!
I think Anthony, Scott and Nikko will be in the bottom 3 with Anthony going home.

I have to agree with Simon about one thing-- no more musicals. I like them, but not for this competition (also, how many contestants were sent home during the auditions because they sounded like they belonged on Broadway instead of in pop music?).

I'd hate to see one of the better contestants sent home this week because he/she had trouble with this style of music. I probably won't vote based on this week alone, like I usually do, because of the theme. I'll probably take last week's performances into account as well.

Not the best night tonight...and I love musicals. They all picked pretty boring songs.

Scott...one of my favorite songs, wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.

Constantine...not a song I like, not a singer I like, so i closed my eyes and he did a very nice job on the song.

Carrie....She is my favorite, boring song, but she sang it very well. (The King and I is the first musical I ever saw way back when)

Anthony...put the boy band spin on his song...what was he thinking?

Nikko...nope, not at all.

Vonzell...nice job...but no one sings Barbra like Barbra. (does that make
sense?) She is my all time favorite singer. My girls will be listening to her version of People on the way to school tomorrow.

Anwar...very nice job...much better then last week

Bo...obviously Broadway is NOT his strongest suit. But he did a good job again.

Nadia....really nice tonight...but I like the rocker Nadia from last week better.

Top 3 for me tonight: Carrie, Nadia and Constantine (yes I said Constantine!)

Bottom 3 Nikko, Scott and Anthony. Anthony should go home, but I have a feeling it might be Scott because of the story that came out.

Also on the Paula watch...I think she needs to tone it down a bit. She gets stranger and stranger every week. Maybe it's time to find a replacement for her.
