Lightening Lane Question

My wife and I are taking our 2 six year old grandsons to Disney World next month.
She does not like rides so for many of them i.e. Seven Dwarfs Mine, I have to go on twice while she watches the non rider.
My question is can we all go through the lightning lane together and she stay with the non rider and then we switch kids?
or
Do I have to go through the lightning lane twice, once with my band and once with hers?

They do not generally allow guests to stand off to the side like that.

My suggestion is to just go through twice.

Rider switch is not intended for adults who wish not to ride so I would anticipate you will need to wait in the standby line twice.
