I'm so excited that the race is back, it's my favorite reality show.
I love that they started in NY and went to St Thomas, it's my dream itinerary if I ever ran it.
Those Miami realtors brought that loss on themselves. They will probably be happier tanning at the elimination station anyway.
I hope the surfer girl,Bethany and her husband go far.

As a PP said, I am glad to see the race on Fridays now because now there won't be anymore worries about game delays. We are also cheering for Bethany and her husband. We like the scientists too. Guess that just the geek in us.

Apparently AR got killed in the ratings last night. I absolutely hate this date change. I have 2 kids in high school band and we will be gone every Friday night.
The Silver Anniversary was referencing the 25th season. I know the show has been on for more than 12 years because I remember when I started watching it at our old house and we have lived here for over 12 years.
Not hating on any teams so far and normally one team has bugged me by now- although I am very glad the realtors are gone.

So do we think those dentists' teeth are all caps? Their teeth look too big for their mouths - not a very good plug for their business.

It goes up against Shark Tank, another show we love.

I think its replacement show on Sunday was Madame Secretary. I don't see the network moving that show.

There were team members from the first show in the audience at Times Square. That is why they all went running over to them to get the answer for the first leg of the race..

Change is hard for me and i am in the midst of some big ones. So, i taped it and watched last night.

Happy to see the team that went home. The others, not sure, but in the previews my daughter commented that they shouldn't all be crying so early in the race. I was disappointed to see 3 teams give up. They have to change that rule.

I look forward to this show and would hate to see them not do another season because of poor ratings. I'm hoping with the age of the DVR that people will just have it on automatic record like I do.

I actually thought it was funny that they would have the dentist's teeth sparkle every time they smiled.

I was so glad to see the blondes go home, there doesn't seem to be any other team that I'll want to see be eliminated so far.

I recorded it on Friday and watched it last night (which is what I'll continue to do).

I've never been less excited about a season than this one.

I knew the realtors would have karma bite them in the butt (for the pen incident), but I'm thrilled that it happened as quickly as it did. I cannot believe she thought she was going to get into that van after one of the firefighters was already in it. I also agree that it's shameful that they live on the coast and don't know which direction the sun rises/sets. They were horrible losers, too.

I didn't think I'd like the dentists, but I give him props for actually knowing what he was doing and helping the other teams if they asked.

I think those cyclists are beyond obnoxious and they had a lot of audacity commenting on the surfer taking off his vest with his girlfriend (wife?) standing right there. At this point, they're strangers and I thought that was extremely disrespectful.

I can't stand that those last 3 teams gave up like they did. The guy (who was part of the couple) was flat-out babyish about it.

In next week's previews, it already shows members of teams crying/having breakdowns. It's only the second leg for crying out loud!

Just not feeling it . . . I'll watch, of course, but I'm just disappointed so far.

I watched on Friday because we happened to be home, but it really felt weird last night not having Amazing Race to look forward to. I won't miss the football overruns though!

I was glad the girls went. Out of all the teams, they seemed one of the least compelling so since someone had to go, might as well be them. No one else really stood out for me, yet. But I usually don't pick the teams I love/hate until the 3-4 episodes in, so I'll hold out hope.

I must say though, I was not a fan of the dentists teeth. There is a difference between nice teeth and teeth that are so perfect they look fake teeth. They definitely crossed that line by a mile (especially him).

I had my teeth replaced (porcelain teeth attached to a peg of what was left of my old teeth) because I grind at night and I was without a bite plate for so long, I had very little teeth left. Very little was paid by insurance and the rest of the $8k came out of my pocket. I told the dentist, if I'm paying that much for new teeth, I want them "Ross" white (referring to the episode of Friends when Ross bleached his teeth, they glowed in the dark). They looked out of place for awhile but they stain like real teeth so they look pretty normal now. Fortunately, the dentists have the means to keep them looking brand new.

I an also very happy the realtors are also gone!! We also tape the show, then watch it Saturday, DH works Friday nights, so we watch it together.
I didn't care for the dentists at first, BUT they grew on me when they helped a few other teams. That was unexpected and very nice of them.
