While I wish the firemen had lasted longer, it was probably for the best - it made me hurt to watch him run on his ankle.

I agree about the firemen - they couldn't have lasted much longer with his bad ankle.

I am a big believer of editing for this show. They want us to hate the dentists, makes for better TV. And yes I can't stand them. I am hoping we are being set up for an epic fail.

I am not disliking them as much as I thought I would. I do think editing is part of it.

They can only edit what is said. If he didn't say it, they couldn't show it.

He is truly obnoxious and I hope they make a big mistake and go home soon! They are the only team so far that I do NOT want to win it.

Sorry to see the firemen go, but gosh his ankle looked terrible!!

I love seeing Bethany and Adam doing so well, and the Detroit mom and daughter although it looks like something happens with them next week.

I am surprised by the amount of crying, whining & general carrying on going on thus far. Nothing has been exceptionally difficult so far. Did they cast about for the most drama filled people they could find?

So far the dentists,the soul surfers, and the scientists(who don't seem to get much air time) are the only ones not causing me to grind my teeth waiting for them to go home. The 2 dating teams (maybe Nashville & the wrestlers?) I can not distinguish between them. Maybe they don't look alike and it's just me? I have trouble with facial recognition sometimes.

I was surprised the firemen felt like the sheep put them our.......I thought it was asking historical information in the pub. I agree about the ankle being painful looking. I did think the ferry thing was a pretty cool mode of transportation. I watch to see those moments.

The Dentists are full of themselves. I'm surprised they can claim first place because of all the back patting they are doing!

I agree the dentists are obnoxious and their teeth are blinding white. I don't think its so much her as she doesn't say alot but he is so great (in his own mind). I won't be sad to see them leave hope they really mess up as I don't think I could watch them the whole season. The firemans ankle was so sore looking I felt sorry for him and in a way I'm glad they were eliminated so he could take care of it.

I do think that the dentists seem awfully full of themselves, and wouldn't mind seeing them taken down a peg or 2. But every time one of them smiles, all I can think of is the episode of Friends, when Ross had that unfortunate teeth whitening experience.

For some reason the mother/daughter team is irking me. The younger one just seems whiny. Looks like some kind of drama with those 2 next week.

What is up with this season not having both a detour AND roadblock? Are they trying to do less of each for some reason? It's kind of weird since in the past they almost always have both a detour and roadblock.

So far I really don't like any of the teams. Was glad to see the first two teams eliminated. They both deserved to go. I would have liked the firefighters to have stayed longer, but the one with the hurt ankle needed to have that checked out so it was probably a good thing for him that they were eliminated.

I was wondering about this, too! I asked my DH if he thought that since Connor pretty much carried his team (him and his dad) last year doing the majority (or at least the hardest) of the roadblocks, that they wanted to put a stop to that? I think they instituted a rule several seasons ago about having to do an equal number, but maybe they just couldn't monitor that in a way that the producers thought it was fair? I don't know.

Regarding the dentists . . . yes, the husband is getting a little too cocky awfully soon. Also, I don't know if he has some type of permanent discoloration on his skin, but his face always looks dirty to me. Too much bronzer against the blinding white teeth?

I guess I'm in the minority since the dentists don't bother me. They play smart. Yeah, he comes off a little too full of himself but that's OK with me. As for the editing, you really don't know what kind of leading questions the producers ask.
