Well, using your cell phone isn't against any rules. I'm not sure why I should be the one person who doesn't raise their phone to take a photo. I wasn't implying that people shouldn't be able to use their phones to take photos, simply that they get in my way. I don't agree at all that photo taking should not be allowed.
I never said it was against the rules. Nor did I suggest it shouldn’t be allowed.

Question for anyone who has gone this year. Did you see Jack & Sally, if so did you line up early? Hiw long was your wait?

When does Columbia Harbor House stop serving food on Halloween party days? I know it becomes a candy stop but I can't find the time food stops being served.

Are there any reputable ticket sellers who might still have tix for sold out dates? Wondering if places like AAA buy tix ahead of time to sell.

A sold out part is sold out for all ticket retailers. They may appear to have tickets available but when you attempt to finalize a purchase it will not complete.

The only was to maybe get tickets to a sold out party is to ask at Disney Guest Services when you arrive but, highly unlikely.

Disney tickets are non-transferable.

I have been reading mixed opinions on the Mickey Halloween Popcorn Bucket. Some say it is exclusive to the party. Others say you can buy them anytime. One post just said they are sold out and not getting anymore in for future parties or from now til Halloween. Anyone have insight into this?

If you have a party ticket they give you a wristband. People can get wristbands starting at 4pm inside the park and when entering at MK at 4pm and after. Park closes at 6pm. If you do not have a wristband they will not let you enter the ride que starting at 6pm. They are very firm about that.

We are going to be in Magic Kingdom earlier in the day and attending the party, so can get our wristbands in the park. We were planning on trying to line up for Jack and Sally right at 4 but I’m now thinking that might not be the best strategy because the wristband handouts in the park all seem to be further in (and we would have to get our band, presumably not much before 4pm) then walk all the way down to town square where the line likely would have built up from people coming in just for the party. Any thoughts on this?
In the past, wristbands have been available at 4pm at the front of the park, and several stations throughout the park. I have not been this year, but perhaps others who have will know this year's specifics.

Are the 7 dwarfs meet and greet still at Pete's Silly Sideshow this year?
I have read on several posts that they are not at the Halloween party. Instead they have been randomly appearing at Hollywood Studios at 5pm and after.
I’m not sure. We got in the park around 5:25, headed over to Tron (arrived maybe 5:40), the whole VQ line was empty and not too many people arriving for LL either. There was no line inside at all we walked straight to the loading area (we saw maybe 10-15 guests inside the building as we walked through. By the time we exited at 5:55ish, they were letting party guests into the VQ line and it appeared to be moving quickly (it was pouring and I’m guessing they wanted to get guests inside).
Day guests can stay in the park til 6pm. At 6pm no one is permiited to enter the ride lines without a wristband.

Yikes! So sorry that you got such bad weather... really disappointing I'm sure. At least they are allowing refunds. I did not realize they would. Hoping the rest of your trip is so incredible that you aren't disappointed for long. :tink:

Here now. What a night.., parades and shows all cancelled due to weather, as well as all the outdoor rides. Oh well, it happens. Currently 1 hour in to the line for refunds.. they don’t make this part easy!
Have you tried chatting on the app? Works for LL refunds, no idea on party tickets. Probably a super long shot.

Technically they don’t but in reality this (or something similar like a 1 day park ticket) is consistent with what they have offered those who ask when so many offerings are rained out. Nice to know they’re still doing it but serious bummer for PP :(

Thank you for the information :-) - I did not know they would consider it....

The other unspoken “rule” is your ticket retains its value if unused and can be applied toward another party ticket (maybe a normal day ticket, reps go back and forth on this detail). So, if you aren’t able to use your ticket don’t just throw it out, there is value in it for a future trip.

They were offering a 1 day park hopper ticket valid for 12 months as an alternative to a refund.

I know that Disney can’t help the weather… it really was just unlucky tonight so it’s good of them to offer refunds, although they really had to as the lightning rolled in around 6pm and didn’t stop until 9.30 along with torrential rain. Characters were limited and shows and rides down. We did get on HM but it broke down for 15 minutes while we were on there! really wasn’t our night tonight 😂

The line for refunds was all the way up main steeet to the Hub from City Hall by the time we left the park 😬
