"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I’m sorry this happened but so thankful they’re offering refunds. It really was a crazy storm!

We weren’t at the party but a DHS when it hit.Fantasmic was delayed when we left. Small ‘pools’ of water all over Pop, 10-20’ in diameter and a few inches deep. Over the tops of running shoes. Trying to dry those now using newspaper inside them. Clothes hanging all around our room.



Hope the line for refunds went well and that people had fun before the storms hit.

They were offering a 1 day park hopper ticket valid for 12 months as an alternative to a refund.

I know that Disney can’t help the weather… it really was just unlucky tonight so it’s good of them to offer refunds, although they really had to as the lightning rolled in around 6pm and didn’t stop until 9.30 along with torrential rain. Characters were limited and shows and rides down. We did get on HM but it broke down for 15 minutes while we were on there! really wasn’t our night tonight

The line for refunds was all the way up main steeet to the Hub from City Hall by the time we left the park

We always bring extra shoes & flip flops, been caught in way too many storms & showers.

Please be aware that if that person's shoes are stinky (no shame!!) it will stink up your entire room. Don't ask me how I know. We had to evac the room for a bit. :X

No, I'm good. Bought tickets a few days after they were available for purchase. Just posting for info on this thread. Our schools are out that week also for fall break.

Finally bought our tickets for Oct. I was waiting/hoping to see a gift card deal from Sam’s/Costco/BJ’s but since 10/11 sold out I figured I better not wait any longer. I did wind up getting a little unexpected deal though b/c Target had one of those circle bonus deals linked to my account. It was spend $270 by tomorrow and get $30 back in rewards for a future purchase. I wasn’t planning on a big target run this weekend so I wouldn’t have used it otherwise. So the normal 5% off the gift cards plus $30 back means the tickets were $166 after taxes. So anyone with a target circle account you might want to check for those bonus circle deals. They apparently work on Disney Gift card purchases. Even if you have your tickets already can buy them for souvenirs/food at the party.

Went to party this past Tues (not the rain one yesterday). Trying to answer a couple character questions….

We prioritized 4 that meet together in storybook circus. Got in line at 5:45, we were 4th group. By 6 there were around 15 groups. Characters came out around 6:50. We were done by 7. Walked by a couple times throughout night and waits were around 40/50 consistently.

Got in line for Jack and Sally around 9:50 (just before fireworks). Wait said 35 but it was more like 25.

Welcome. We were trying to decide same thing. Had seen reports on Facebook that if you don’t care about fireworks then 9:50 to 10:10 is a great time to go.

Did see they cut Pooh line around 11:00 and it looked super long all night

Good to know, the only characters our girls care to see are Jack & Sally!! Kids, I still can't figure them out. How were ride wait times? We are going on Tuesday the 10th, if it isn't rained out..
