**Official 2019 MNSSHP Guest List and Costume Thread**

We are attending the Oct. 1st party. I am going as Sally, DH is going as Jack, DS is going as Lock, DD is going as Shock and DD is going as Barrel. Since the kids can not wear their masks, I am sewing them onto their treat bags.

I am trying to decide which Daisy to go with, so it's informal poll time. Which Daisy?

A) Pink shirt, purple bow and shoes
B) Purple shirt, pink bow and shoes
C) Purple shirt, shoes and bow

How does one decide? All the boys costumes are super easy and DH as Donald is pretty clear cut, but I can't seem to make this decision for myself! LOL!

I vote B as well! When I think of Daisy, that's the combo I picture.

Sad, wish there were more costumes & accessories posted here as I really love seeing the creative side of our community.

I'll be sharing my finished Tamatoa headband tonight or tomorrow! I am in such a quandary about how I want to do the shell though. I cannot decide. Leaning towards a gold sequined capelet made slightly rigid (but still soft and comfortable) by using headliner foam underneath right now but happy to take opinions!

Thank you. It was a lot of fun and comfortable enough we stayed in costume all night.

I'm going to try and update this thread later this week, but heres a photo of us in our costumes. Granted it was 6 hours+ into the party so parts of them had been removed or weathered lol....

I was so tired last night I went to bed at 9:30pm and woke up at 3am. Worked on DH & DS Dumbo backpack treat bags...

Painted then sanded them with very fine sand paper to write the letters and paint it in.

Now I have to iron it to bake the paint in then spray it with a clear polyurethane. After it dries I can add the Dumbo & Timothy Mouse appliques. This is what it will look like when done!

That's great work! I love it and I love seeing how creative people are.

I am usually crafty but dh doesn’t want to wear a costume so we are wearing last year’s Halloween party shirts. I did make my ears, though

Update:
After a few weeks of waffling back and forth over Toy Story (Buzz, Woody, Jesse, Aliens or Potato Heads) , Jack, Sally , Lock shock and Barrel and realizing I have absolutely no crafty skills and even less patience (not to mention no time!) I have decided (sorry fam, no vote!) we will do the following:

Mom (me): Pooh
Dad: Eeyore
DS13: Christopher Robin
DD10: Piglet
DS7: Tigger

We will get character tees from Amazon along with the costume accessory pieces. I was chuckling the entire time I was researching, as DS13 is 6'2" and about as far from Christopher Robin as you can get. His costume will consist of a yellow polo shirt, blue shorts and tall white socks

DH will be just about the most hilarious Eeyore, picture a surly, bearded, heavily tattooed donkey! I'm dead already!

My pooh costume will be golden yellow chino shorts and a red Pooh tee shirt, with sequin Pooh ears with a big red bow (ok, Minnie ears, but whatevah!)

Piglet will be a light pink leotard with belly stripes, a pink tutu (of course!), pink tights, legwarmers and piglet ears.

Tigger will consist of a Tigger striped tee and the costume accessory kit with black athletic shorts. My little one will be the most vocal about any discomfort, so we'll call it good!

We leave 3 weeks from tomorrow and I still have so much to do! I'm freaking out! Time to start the checklist!

Costume Update - Toy Story

DS (16): Benson

With Black Shorts

DH: Duke Caboom

With White Shorts, also note his backpack is reversible to Dumbo.

My costume: Bo Peep


Officer Giggle Mcdimples snaps on.

I also added a bra strap holder as seen with the silver snap and light blue ribbon. No treat bag, no time!

With Black Flouncy Skirt - Knee length.
I used this Karen Scott top and added buttons and trims.


I made Timothy's hat from a cereal box and decided not to add ears to the headband as I have my own
I'm still unsure if I'll wear the headband as I find them most difficult to use with my glasses. Instead of progressive lenses I have two pairs of glasses so I'm constantly switching them and the headbands ALWAYS get in the way.
I do not own any Disney Ear Headbands for this reason.

I did see a Wendy with a Peter Pan, Michael, and John? Not sure if they were you but they looked amazing lol

Edit: I just saw when I was updating the list that was probably your group!!! My son and I spotted "Michael" right away with the long pajama shirt and umbrella thinking he was spot on, and then we saw the rest of your group as he was catching up. We were literally behind you at one point! The picture in my head was in Town Square to left of the flagpole in the street (facing the park entrance), but I only recall being there at the beginning of the party, and after midnight, so it was probably somewhere else lol.

Have a great trip and don't forget to bring us back something! Yep, all of us on your thread!

Um....yeah....about that...I brought more orange font and pumpkin emojis? Oh! And a long winded trip report not worth the time it takes to read it
