Yes, I know you said you didn't know. But I assumed you had the thought because there was some reason it might. I see what you're saying.

I'm sorry - I thought you wanted me to clarify my statement. I'm just anticipating that the bus situation will be different from regular park closing so trying to figure out what that means, since I'll be with my 10YO - hoping since it's an 8-11pm DAH she'll make it!

Okay thanks! Somewhere I read a post and someone said the lines for the carts were longer than most of the rides.
Yes...I read that in the 2017 DAH thread. Some people posted pictures too. They said the line moves quickly though.

Oh okay. I’m not sure how often we’ll stop for snacks. The main point for us is to get on rides that will be more difficult for us to get on on a Saturday. Also to hopefully go on some more than once.

Unless you get behind some folks like I did this year that stuffed every nook and cranny of their massive bags and jackets with soda. :confused3

I should probably caveat my no lines comment above. I think my night was maybe the coldest DAH we saw this year. The last thing we wanted was ice cream or cold anything!! :goodvibes:goodvibes I suspect that kept the lines lower.

We ended up getting a better resort deal which freed up money for some extras, so it looks like we will be attending DAH on 1/26! :yay:

I am going to make the reservation tonight when things settle down here.

Question....is there any downside to just having the tickets mailed? There were several options, and that looked to be the easiest to me.

I ordered ours online late afternoon on Monday the 2nd. They showed up immediately in MDE & then in the mail this past Tuesday. So 1 week later. Can't see any reason not to get them mailed. You have plenty of time for them to get to you & then you won't have to waste vacation time picking them up.

Ok, dumb question - aren’t they just linked in MDE automatically? Do you really need a hard ticket?

I bought 2 tickets already and can’t remember what I clicked, but didn’t get hard tickets.

I had to manually link ours online so that our magic bands will work with them. I was told to do this by a cast member.

That was true for me in 2017. That said, it wasn’t crazy lines for food, maybe 5 min. The food lines got longer as the night went on and more people started hoarding waters.

The food is nothing special. Ice cream bars, popcorn and bottled soda/water. I saw a few people with large bags full of waters... in my survey I suggested Disney charge for snacks/drinks and lower the ticket price for this event. They didn’t listen! Haha.

Oh lol 5 min isn’t bad.

We purchased tickets for March 1. We are camping at Fort Wilderness, so anxious to find out if the boats run at DAH. There will be 7 of us, and we are looking forward to this less crowded event.

Dumb question but how do I do that? I don’t even see anything in MDE about our tickets.

They were linked automatically. I just wanted hard tickets too. We don't buy many souvenirs, but my DH keeps the hard tickets as momentos.

Question about the ticket. I see mine already on MDE, and they also emailed me a PDF for the event. Do you not get the lanyard anymore that people have shown in their photos from past events? Or do you have to stop at the gate to get the lanyard no matter what?
