Two years ago they were right beside city hall to the left as you enter the park.

They meet in the location near the firehouse/bathrooms when you first walk in. The line starts early, when I was there on Halloween people were lining up after getting their SOTMK card.

While we on the SOTMK topic, someone in this forum recently mentioned that you need to you find the portal before picking up a new card. I had not heard of this before. Is it true? I got my key card, found the first portal. It showed me a symbol but I haven't found that second portal yet and that was 2 years ago. Do I really need to find it before picking up new cards for this September trip?

Anyone seen Golden Outpost open during the party? I am jonesing to try the loaded fries, and want to know if I should plan on hitting it outside of party hours. TIA!

Golden Outpost is almost never open at all. I wouldn't bet on it being open on a party day/night.

While we on the SOTMK topic, someone in this forum recently mentioned that you need to you find the portal before picking up a new card. I had not heard of this before. Is it true? I got my key card, found the first portal. It showed me a symbol but I haven't found that second portal yet and that was 2 years ago. Do I really need to find it before picking up new cards for this September trip?

With 2 years passing, that's hard to know. Every so often they reset the game due to glitches. For the Halloween cards you shouldn't have to open a portal first. For the packs, you may or may not have to. We went 3 months between playing and had to open a portal before getting a new pack. We lost the key card and they happily replaced that but we still had to open a potal. It was good there was one SotMK card in our car that we grabbed because a previous time, they wouldn't give a starter card when we left them at home. Maybe that's just an AP thing?

With 2 years passing they will start you on a new game. So you can choose your first spot and get your map again and everything. They told me after a year lapses without playing it stops remembering where you were.

So if you go straight to where you left off last, and it has been over a year, you would need to start over when you get new cards? No big deal either way, but I actually remember the portal where we need to go, and I don't mind continuing where we left off.

The princes were removed last year, and we have no idea what the lineup will be for this year yet.

I made a CRT for myself during the 4 to 7 slot so i could get a lot of the princesses while in costume. I did the soiree last year so missed a lot of party time so didnt have as much m&g time, but I'd make yourself a list of what you want and check out the 2014 guide to get an idea of what may be. Though no one really knows til the party starts what we're getting it seems after how last year went.
