I want to try Hidgon's plan, but I don't think I can do those 6-8 milers during the week. I only have about 3 hours after I get home from work before I go to bed, and I don't want to spend half of that running, plus another hour round trip if I go to the gym! 
And no, I can't get up at 4:30am to do them in the morning!
