olympic.org pictures of the opening ceremony...http://www.olympic.org/news/sochi-2014-opening-ceremony-russia-welcomes-the-world/223459?id=223459
Must the announcers talk through the whole show? It'd be a bit more enjoyable without listening to them narrating.
Geez, like watching a play with the annoying person sitting behind you who thinks that their companion needs a running commentary to understand the show.
Not as much as I prefer.I think Bob Costas gets paid by the word for the Olympic coverage.

Is my memory just not as good as it used to be or is there usually more of a show in the beginning and the athletes are ushered in at the end? I know we have a long way to go at this point, but once all the athletes are in, there likely won't be a lot of room left for a big production. It just seemed short to me.
Has anyone heard if the opening ceremonies were sold out?

Meredith just gave an accidental ad for Google, by telling everyone to Google the cyrillic alphabet. Everyone other company had to pay millions of dollars for their commercials to air during the Olympics. If Microsoft/Bing is a sponsor, they are probably pissed.

There is a lot more show after the athletes have all entered.
The speeches are...interesting![]()
I think they're seating athletes in the stands. The floor will be empty for the production afterwards.
