Official 2014 MNSSHP Guest List (and discussion) Thread

Hope all you September party-goers are having an amazing time! Counting down the days....only 2 weeks to go!!

Can anyone report back as to how soon people are starting to line up for the Dwarfs and Jack & Sally? Also, how long are the lines usually for characters like Minnie/Daisy or Pooh & Friends?

Trying to figure out how to get it all in :)

Thanks!!!

Update: DH is a surprise :scratchin I'm going as an IASW charater (pis to come!), DS3 is a tiger, DS6 is an "army man".

Likely Pecos Bills or CHH prior to the party. Still unsure, as we are meeting friends that day prior to the party.

I snagged a 6:05 BOG reservation for 10/10, so my plans have changed to include that! I always get the exact reservations I want 7-10 days out, so for anyone else that is desperately wanting something, keep trying!!!

Congrats! I was just able to snag a 5:25pm on 10/19. I am so excited for both of us! I am hoping to see other diners in costume as I'll be Ariel on wheels! Haha. Disabled humor. lol If I do two courses and a picture with the Beast, could I be out by 7pm or plan for longer? Just two of us. Have one FP+ booked from 4:25pm to 5:25pm Under the Sea Voyage.

I've heard others say dinner + Beast is about 90 minutes. Of course, that will also depend on whether or not you are seated right away and how fast you eat, but would think you could be out by 7 for sure! Enjoy, we will be there the 14th (our actual anniversary!) :)

Sounds good to me! If I get out a bit later, I get out a bit later. OFFICIALLY going to stop obsessively checking for ressies which is a GREAT feeling to have everything you want!!! Now what to do with my free time...LOL If it wasn't for the cancellation thread on here don't know HOW I would of gotten it!

What a great feeling! I am still trying to tweak a few times, but if nothing changes from here, I'm good with our plans! My husband actually asked me the other day what I was going to do with all my free time once this vacation was over, since I've been pretty OCD with the planning this year (FP+ just added a while new level to the process!! Lol!). Naturally, I told him I would start planning our next trip, of course!! :) Have a great vacation!!

Haha!!!!As I always say the only cure for Disney Depression is planning the next trip. My mother asks: How many times a day are you going to check that website? You have a great vacation as well!!!

update!

We have decided to go as..

Minnie - Lauren
Daisy - me!

We are so excited and we have our costumes almost together :)

We attended our first MNSSHP on September 19th. We had about an hour to 2 hours before it started raining and pretty much rained all night. Boo! BUT we had a great time although one of my kids ended up getting sick so my husband took her back to the room while I stayed with the other two. :crazy2: Despite the rain and the sickness we really enjoyed it, but want a do-over for sure! Maybe we can go again next year sans rain and barfing. Ha. I can see why everyone enjoys the party...so much to do and you will definitely not fit everything into one night. Someone asked in an earlier thread how the lines were for the 7 Dwarfs. We waited about 30 minutes so it wasn't too bad although wet. They had to move them under a little covered area since it was raining pretty good.

Here are a few pics we got before the rain came in.

I hope everyone has a great time at the upcoming parties! :jumping1:

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad you made the best of it despite the rain. I've been watching the weather the last couple of weeks and it's been pretty crazy!

Right now the forecast for our 10/5 MNSSHP is sunny, high 80 low 59, with a zero percent chance of rain. So hoping the forecast holds!

Great pics (and costumes!!) Yes, you definitely need a do-over though!!! Hope you had better weather (and health) the rest of your trip!!!

Love the pictures. Glad you had a good time despite the rain and sickness. I hope you get your do-over some day.

It will be less then a week before I get to go to my first F&W and MNSSHP. I am super excited:cool1::thumbsup2:goodvibes:banana::moped:

The weather looks like it's going to be amazing for our MNSSHP on 10/5-- high around 78 and low around 60 with a 0% chance of rain! Because of this we are switching our costumes on 10/5 to Alice and Hatter! We've been cosplaying Alice and Hatter for almost seven years but it's always been too hot for us to do those costumes at MNSSHP-- until now.

Here's a picture of our Alice and Hatter from a comic expo we went to a couple of weeks ago.
Couldn't be more excited to wear these to MNSSHP (and get pictures with the "real" Alice, Hatter, and Queen of Hearts!)
