I didn't think it was in the cards for us this year but here we go! It will just be DH, me, DD12 and DS9 (the older boys are in college)

I just found out that they removed the princes from the meet-and-greets! One of the reasons that I went to MNSSHP in the first place was to see Flynn and Charming, and now they're gone. WHY?!?!?

Sorry you are just now finding out. Originally, they announced that Maleficent and the Evil Queen would be with the princesses in Fairytale Hall, but they were pulled. Now it is just the everyday princesses that are available.

We received both the allergy candy as well as the regular candy - first suggestion, bring every party members bag with you to city hall when you get the allergy candy, they'll put some in each bag which means the allergy person will actually get more than one bite.

As for the regular candy:
snickers
peanut chews
mars bars
milky way
butterfinger
sour chews
now & Laters
M&Ms
lollipops
lemon balls
smarties equivalent (different brand sour something)
skittles
starburst

Possibly others, but this is what I recall - just went through them today to see what was safe for our girls.

The allergy candies were small pumpkin chocolates and larger ghost chocolate. I was told there'd be non candy treats, there weren't.

thank you so much for this info! Now i know we have to stay away from the regular treat lines due to a lot of nuts present! I plan to take allergic DD and also her brother for the allergy treats and maybe get some ourselves so they can have plenty! thanks for the great idea! I'll probably also bring a few treats myself just to make sure they have things they like.

We finally got costumes set, buying tickets this week. We will be at the October 9th party. Ods is Indiana jones Yds lone ranger
Me a lifeguard and dh is a swimmer/shark bite victim

DD an I decided to dress as gypsies for the 10/28 MNSSHP. We are still doing Minnie and Daisy on 10/30 though.

How do you guys plan your costumes for both chilly and possibly warm weather?

I am trying to figure out layering possibilities in case it is cold.

I remember back in 2008 when we attended MNSSHP we froze, so I don't want to risk that again!!

Yeah we live in maine, so we are use to being cold around Halloween. I am having s hard time planning for heat and cold. I just remember it was in the 40s in 2008 at night when we went in late October. Just want tobe prepared if it is like that again! I am hoping for around 70 though!!!
