As the site kept crashing over and over again...my first thought was, I wonder if the wonderful people on the DIS can help? Sure enough, used the link and was able to register my husband and me for our first Coast to Coast!!

There was actually a facebook post from rundisney. It was funny. Stating that Captain hook was trying to keep you from registering. then it gave a link that bypassed everything.

After a one week early presale for DVC, and one week early and one hour early presales for Annual Passholders (two batches of slots), registration opened at 12:00 EST on 28 Jan.
The Dumbo Double Dare sold out at 12:42 EST.
The 10k sold out at 12:56 EST.
The Half Marathon and 5k are both 50% full as of 12:56 EST

Yikes--so much for the reasoning that it sold out so fast last year because of expo registrations!

BEWARE: I believe that all "glitches" for non-AP/non-DVC members were cancelled... I have a refund on my credit card for the total of DDD, but none of the "extras" I bought...I am on the phone trying to ensure I was cancelled.

Did they ever actually confirm you were cancelled, and if so, give you a reason why? No one else has reported the issue.

Guess this means the price increases this year weren't high enough, and next year's races will cost a lot more.

Maybe Disney should add an early registration option, like the DVC and AP ones now, but open that to anyone for an additional $100 over the regular fee for DDD, e.g. So for that $100 extra, you are guaranteed DDD entry!

Heck, that makes more sense to spend money on that than the $89 to see Soarin', get yet another tech shirt, and get 1 hour in the expo before opening.

Since you clicked "yes" for C2C, you'll get a C2C wristband during packet pickup at the expo and you'll have to wear it until the end of the half when you'll exchange it for a C2C medal.

Yikes! My last 10k registration went through at 9:55am! Hope it worked ok, I haven't got any confirmation emails yet!

I got my payment receipt email, but not confirmation email...did you?

I got my confirmation emails at the same as the payment receipt, but I was logged in and filling out my forms 4 min. Before 12:00.

I got my receipt and confirmation for DDD, which I registered for first. I haven't gotten anything for my 5k, but I took a screen shot of the confirmation to be safe! I think they're just really backed up! The bars are on the rundisney website now.

They did not - in fact Active had no record of it, they had record of the refund for the processing fee - which is yet to be refunded on my card, so I will fight to ensure that goes through...it's like because I clicked no to "AP and DVC" I was just rescinded - I wonder if they did "spot checks" or something...Run Disney said AP could cancel you bc you registered without the AP code...Regardless - I am in for sure now, and all of my "pin registrations" stayed active...WEIRD!

I sent an email to active asking if they can link the registration to my account since it didn't show up (happened for the WDW full too). Hopefully they will confirm the registration is still legit then. Fingers crossed!

I spoke to Active and they have no way to link. All pre-registrations either through WDW AP, DVC or DL AP are processed as a "guest" active account. They can't link when you regster because the registration isn't open yet. They can't link after because...it's all Disney's fault in terms of how they set it up (their words not mine lol)l While you will never be able to see your registration online, as long as you have your order number you are fine. If for some reason you don't have your order number, but know you received one, they can look it up and resend you your information.

If you printed the online receipt (not the email but the print view version) it shows the time stamp and the order number at the top.
