I just noticed there is a link to race photos! Does anyone know the pricing for these?

I'm looking at my pictures on MarathonFoto.com right now and a 5x7 is $15. I think that's the cheapest item on there. I can buy all my Goofy photos and video clips for $115. Obviously it'll be different for just a half...or I would think so anyway. But anyway, yeah, the prices range from $15-$100's.

I am SO excited - this is my first Disneyland race. Well, first two since I'm going Dumbo. I live behind the Magic Kingdom here in Orlando, so nearly all of my races have been WDW ones (see siggy).

I'm nearly foaming at the mouth for my 4 medals. I was going nuts for my 3 at Goofy - 4 is even better!!

Prices will continue to increase until people stop purchasing a product. It's simple supply and demand.

Very true! A good example is that the Disneyland Half Marathon has always increased in cost since it's inception. And since it has been selling out quicker every year, I'm willing to bet that the cost will increase even more next year!

I didn't get in the DDD but at least I'll be able to keep my legacy going in the half marathon.

Wow. Well at the rate it's going I'm thinking it'll be done before noon eastern time today. I imagine with the DDD and 10K selling out so fast, people are feeling pressured to grab their half registrations earlier this year.

I agree by noon EST. The 5K is now showing 62%.

That is unbelievable this early in the year. I expected the ½ and the 10K to fill, but the 5K too. Wow is an understatement.

Anyone have thoughts on the logistics of doing the 5K & 10K?

Originally the 10k was going to start at 7 which would have left plenty of time. Starting at 6:15 is going to make it tough I think even for people who run 20 minute (not me) 5k's and start at the front. However, it does say the 5k ends where the 10k begins and I'm sure they will have corrals so it very well could be possible.

Hopefully they push the 10k back to 7. I doubt they will though.

Do you get assigned to your corral at the expo? My friends and I signed up separately but I want to make sure we all get to start together.

You will be assigned a corral based on your estimated finish time.

If you have different corrals, the only way you can start together is to go to the last corral of your group.

Example: Mickey is in A. Minnie is in A. Donald is in C. Chip is in B. Dale is in D. If everyone wanted to start together, the gang would need to drop back to corral D.

I am in for Dumbo! I registered at the Tink expo and I can't believe how quickly these races are selling out.

The RunDisney rep I spoke with at the Tink said that 6:15 is the latest they can start the 10K in order to open the parks on time. So if there is a schedule change, their only option would be to move the 5K to an earlier time. It sounded doubtful, but you never know! 5:30 is already really early for a 5K.

Yikes! I needs to register DS for the kids race. I did DD yesterday but I kept getting an error message. I had no idea the kid races sold so quickly too yeesh.

People are talking about this on fb. Some have decided it just isn't going to be possible. I still don't know.

On the runDisney website under the 10K it says this:

"Follow the path of the White Rabbit as he tries to catch up with Alice and the Mad Hatter when the Inaugural Disneyland® 10K course picks up where the 5K course leaves off. This all-new event will take you into Cars Land at Disney California Adventure® Park and through Disneyland® Park before continuing on to the streets of Anaheim."

I don't know exactly what they mean by it "picking up where the 5K course leaves off", but if the 5K indeed ends where the 10K begins then it seems possible to do both. Finish the 5K within 45 mins and get right into the line up for the 10K.

I am hoping to do both, but I'm prepared for it not to work out.
