Were you able to get on another flight?
Southwest moved my flight so I am still ok to arrive in Orlando tomorrow.

Hello! Yes, I am scheduled to fly into Atlanta on Friday and my sister and I will drive down to Orlando. I still need to pack!

Drive Safe!! How long is it taking you to drive from New Hampshire? It's got to be close to 24 hours, right?

Holly

Thanks! Yep, it's about 24 hours. Last year when we drove with the girls we were able to make it to Florence, SC the first day. We're hoping to make it a bit further, stay overnight and then get up early and drive the rest of the way tomorrow.

So, I'll be here all day with nothing to do but chat while hubby drives. :)

We're in a Princess Room too! I agree - just felt fitting for the event. Plus, I'm not sure my boyfriend would ever agree on a normal trip :)

I'm also in a Royal room at POR. What time are you getting on the bus to go to the race? I'll be at the bus stop at 3.

I hope that everyone leaving today will have a safe trip down.

I hope all sicknesses and aches and pains have disappeared for everyone, and that we can all enjoy a healthy trip. Hoping that anyone in the storm's path doesn't have their travel plans hindered. I'm leaving home in about a half hour to make my way to the airport. I can't wait to get on the plane so I can take a nap; I stayed up way too late last night.

Safe travels, everyone! Hopefully, I'll be able to run into some of you along the way over the weekend. Have a great race, princesses!

HOlly

Getting ready to get to the airport. Resisting the urge to wear the tiara now. :rotfl2:

Safe travels everyone. Orlando here we come.

You all were a chatting group yesterday.
Many thanks to all for the get well wishes and pixie dust. I feel about 75% better today. I've already had a piece of toast and juice this morning.

DH covered for me yesterday and took care of himself, so today I need to finish his costume. He had to by, by himself, to the fabric store and pick up some trim to finish it.

pixiedust:pixiedust: Hope all the winter storms pass quickly and you all are able to get on your flights to Florida. pixiedust:

At the airport! Flights on time. Taking the taxi was the best decision I've made in a while. I-70 wasn't plowed at all and I had to watch him unfog the windows several times on the way there.

There are days like these where I would love to know where the money that should be going to the DOT is going.

The weekend's forecast is still "tentative" for Boston-- here's hoping Q is too exhausted by Sun to leave much snow at the airport!

I realizes that due to the slightly earlier start time and being in a earlier corral, we start almost 30mins earlier than last year! Last year we got on the bus at BC at 3:45 and barely made it to the corrals by the Elite start (due to the long slow walk). Do we think it will be better this year, or do I really need to back up our whole plan by 30 mins this year?

Thank you for this recommendation!! I have a cold and got some ColdCalm and feel a lot better from yesterday.

Glad it helps!

Lolling at Moms comment:

Enjoy your flight. It should be called the princess express. All of you should be required to wear a tiara on the flight! Hugs and kisses.

All ready saw two other runners. Spent twenty minutes talking to one of them.

So this happened:

Might be taking my Ariel costume a bit too far... (nah!)

24 hours until we leave for WDW! Can't wait!

Erin

Okay so there are at least five other runners on the flight.

Hi, everyone! I haven't posted on this thread yet but I've been reading along and loving it. I'm sure this has been addressed already but is anyone else just DYING of excitement?! This will be my first half marathon and I am just counting down the seconds. We are heading to Disney tomorrow (we live in FL). I think I might cry at the race lol When I started running I never would have thought I would be excited to run 13 miles! princess:

*************

Last day at work...woo hoo! It's gonna be a stressful one...didn't look far enough ahead when I booked this trip (not that it would have stopped me!) but with the Oscars happening this weekend, I gotta have all those ducks in a row here before I leave today so my back up won't have to deal with it tomorrow. Hopefully nothing will change last minute for her tomorrow (yeah right...). It's the scariest time of year for me...where one errant key stroke can cost BIG $$ and most (if not all) of MY behind. :scared1: So, double-quadruple checking is in order. Guess I should get to it! :coffee:

Hrm... I wasn't planning on leaving my hotel room until about 3:15. I don't have the race retreat so I'm trying to minimize the hanging around since I'll be running on my own (well with 26,000 new friends hehe).

Im still nursing a pulled muscle in my hip from last week. Does anyone have a miracle treatment that might help? I've tried KT tape, baths, icy hot, etc. but it's not back to normal yet. I'm so scared its going to go crazy on the course.

Do you have time to get a massage? A good deep tissue massage may help.

I am popping into this thread to say GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN to all the runners this weekend! I wish I could be down there running with you all!

Have a great race!!
