I reached double digits for the first time since March, when I was training for my first half. DH and I ran 10 miles last Sunday! He ran the entire thing

I can't do that, but stayed with a 3:1 run/walk ratio the entire way. And felt pretty decent the rest of the day, even with a sinus infection! We are running a half in mid-November, and should be ready. What I'm not sure about is what kind of program I should follow between then and the Princess that won't wear out my ancient body parts but will allow me to keep a good level of fitness and peak again at the right time. Suggestions? It's almost 3-1/2 months between races - should I take some time off and start over? In spite of a nasty cold (which I firmly believe I caught at the doc's office when I went because of the sinus infection!), I've stayed on schedule this week, but haven't eaten well. On another note, I know food is expensive at WDW - is the pasta party worth the price? The menu sounds really good. Congrats to all you ladies who have jumped into your training programs!! As far as motivation problems, it's pretty normal for them to come and go. Right now the change to cooler weather is motivating me, as well as having a race next month. The cold/sinus issue is the drag and it's hard to fight that when I wake up feeling like cr*p. What about setting some short term goals to go along with the regular mileage increases? Like knocking 10 or 20 seconds off your pace for shorter training runs, or adding that to your run intervals if you're doing Galloway? Something that is achievable and will make you feel like you've accomplished something extra?
I'm sorry this post is so long!
