Oh my goodness! That sounds serious. So sorry to hear that it's worse than I thought. I did have a soreness inside my ankle joint once, but it went away. I had a light bruise. I think it happened when I turned around to look behind me, as I stomped down on my foot.
I have heard of moleskin, but never tried it, THANKS!![]()
I'm really hoping it's just an internal bruise too. Rest and ice will help that. I'm going for an xray this afternoon. They're checking for fractures and said if that's what it is, no marathons of any kind for me.
Pretty pretty please just be a bruise or something that heals fast!

I had gastric bypass surgery 6 months ago, but I totally give credit to training and to the inspiration you ladies have given me. I say this because my surgeon said that that is the fastest she has ever had someone lose that much weight (who works nights). Before I had the surgery I met with a physical therapist who suggested that I take up running. Specifically in races and endurance. I laughed out loud. I couldn't even imagine it. 2 bum knees and arthritus in both. So after I had the surgery and I found myself sitting on the couch still I had to ask myself what would I run for. Well, I used to run for food, that was out. But I also remember running for Disney. No where elese would I put in 3-5 miles in a day (and that seemed like a lot).
I thank you all for your advice and your stories.
I'm thinking maybe it's okay if I tell them to just stick to the back and shoulders but hands off the legs?!?!
