At the risk of sounding prudish...
I guess I'm glad I don't drink!
Now, chocolate is a whole other thing!
Me too, on all points.
I drink, but very rarely, like maybe once or twice every year or 2. On the other hand I wish I could find an easy fix to weight loss. I only drink water, milk and now a sports drink like Powerade zero or G2 on running days. I eat lean meat like boneless skinless chicken breast about 70 to 80% of the time for dinner. Only get lean cuts of meat if I get anything else, only have red meat a couple times a month, eat whole grains and all that good stuff and I can not seem to lose a single pound. In the last year I have only lost 10 pounds and most of that was about a year ago and was *baby weight*. Since then it doesn't seem to matter what I do, how much I work out, I can't lose any more, and no I am not skinny. In fact I am boarderline overweight according to BMI, so I should have more left to lose, it just wont budge.

I already did that (then deleted it in an edit).
if you chase it with a glass of water?
(sp?) Sorry to get on to that tangent, but I found it interesting enough that I bought coke zero from the grocery store this week.
after all, we have a disney trip planned for dec AND jan as well as a maui trip planned in may (this is a rare occurrence people, we don't usually vacation this much!!) so he thinks it might be weird to ask for so much time off.
I have a hunch some of the problem could be the ridiculous heat and humidity, but during the week, running outside right after work is my only option so I'm pushing through it...it's just so frustrating when I feel like I already need to get in a walk break half way through the first mile because I can't seem to get a deep breath. I'm fairly young (33) still, and have never smoked so I'm pretty sure I have healthy lungs...I hope! So, wondering if this is something that will just get better as my training progresses...if there's anything else I can do to help that process along, etc? Also, I always hear that you should inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth...when I've tried this, I feel like it's worse!! I appreciate your advice!
