First-time to MNSSHP and am really excited about going! We are going to MNSSHP on October 13th after our cruise on the Dream. Just wondering what time we are allowed entry into the park. I have been told the party starts at 7 but we may be able to enter the park as early as 5:00 We are booking a room on resort for the night, just wondering if we could get in at 5, instead of 7. Thank for the help!

Confirmed for 9/27....day after DPs birthday....we're looking forward to dressing up, etc...this will be our first foray into MNSSHP....

We are going to the September 20th. party, It's our first party we are hoping for low crowds and a lot of fun! I don't know who is more exicted me or the kiddos! I ordered some costumes at Party City, they currently have some great deals going on their clearance costumes !!! www.partycity.com We had to look hard to find the clearance ones as well as some that are not so short! The wine and dine half marathon is scheduled for the last weekend in September....which is probably why the hotels are almost booked! The race itself is SOLD OUT!!!

Virtually all dining options are booked Friday and Saturday, too. With the 9/30 party, 10/1 marathon, and 10/1 anniversary, I'm getting concerned with crowds. Anyone think that 40th anniversary on Saturday will affect how many attend the party 9/30. I'm thrilled that we get to spend such a cool time at MK, but we aren't going to be there for very long and don't want to deal with mucho crowds. This was just the only time we could work it into our schedule.

It has been common for the CMs to let people with party tickets start entering the park at 4:00. No guarantees that this will be the case this year, but I think it is what most people have come to expect.

This will be our first MNSSHP and I'm so excited! Trying to decide between Oct 27th or 28th, but knowing me I just might break down and buy tickets for both. After all, if I'm going to spend $$$ on costumes, I might as well get my money's worth!

Now, if I could only decide what we'll go as. I really want to go in Hogwarts costumes, but figured we'd get accused of being at the wrong park.

Maybe Star Wars characters, instead...

I was thinking of going as Snow White but I was reading that if you come as a character you cannot pose for photos. I am assuming that means with other people as if you were an Official Face. But I could still pose with the real Snow White and the Dwarves, the princesses, Mickey, etc, right?

Just found this thread. I have been so busy on the Disney Cruise Hawaiian Cruise thread. My husband and I have been to the Christmas Party but this will be our first Halloween Party. We got tickets for Sept. 20 and we are so excited.
I am thinking about costumes. We have Mickey and Minnie costumes but I think they are going to be too hot. I might have to rethink this.

My priority is getting the picture of the Seven Dwarfs. Where is the best place to see them
Of course I want to see Goofy.

We'll also be attending the September 20th party (Pinocchio theme - Gepetto (dh), blue fairy, Pinocchio (DS4) and Jiminy (DS1)!

The middle of September also has very limited availability (no mods, only all star sports for value came up). I'm hopeful it just means booked resorts for free dining but low park crowds. We went last year at the same time and the crowds (MNSSHP included) were perfect!!

It will be ridiculously hot in the evening for the party so we adjust our costumes accordingly. Mine (fairy) is basic and no where near the movie but a long dress was out. I'll be cropping Jiminy's coat into short sleeves with an applique tshirt under it, and Pinocchio is good to go

Just got our annual party tickets for OCTOBER 30th.

So excited....I just ordered them 4 days ago and they arrived today! They said they wouldn't be shipped for several weeks.

Now, if we can just get the "big" prize, like toothbrushes this year!

We'll be there the last week of October. I'm trying to decide between the 25, 27, and 28th. Will probably avoid the 28th since it's a weekend.

This will be my 5 year old son's 4th trip and our 4th MNSSHP! We're super excited!

I think I know the answer to this but, have not seen it written anywhere. What is DW's policy on adult men dressing as women? I assume that is not considered "family friendly" but, I want a more official guideline to give my DCuz who dressed as a "bunny" once for a private party. I'm telling him "don't you dare!" I don't want to get all the way to the gate w/my ticket in my hand and be told he can't come into the park.

Im in! We are attending the 10/25 party. It's me and DS3 and this is our 4th WDW trip and our 2nd MNSSHP. DS insists on being a pirate again.

We were lucky enough to do MNSSHP in September and MVMCP in December last year, and I really think MNSSHP is more fun. Hoping to score more candy this year!
