It'a funny but I just read in the NY Times and a local paper how some big record producers all called anyone that liked Diana tone deaf. I have to agree with them. I may not like certain singers because they are not my type but I can still be honest and say if they have talent. I don't like Clay at all or even Barry Manilow but can say they have talent. Well Clay only has enough talent for broadway but that is beside the point! So I find it amazing how some think Fantasia is not talented. Some may not like her style but they cannot really believe she has not talent. As far as Dianna I think she can't hit a good note if someone paid her and the experts agree. It really doesn't matter who wins tonight because the obvious and only one is Fantasia.

I totally agree. Even when Diana does a good job they have to go and find something wrong with her performance (well, atleast Simon does), and when Fantasia does bad, they still go and sing her praises!!! GO DIANA!!!

You've GOT to be kidding me?! As to the "experts", I would like to know who actually said that, because then I would know not to purchase any albums produced by them. I would seriously question any so-called "expert" who made that statement. Incidentally, it doesn't take good "ears" to produce an album.....just money.

Oh well. Call me tone deaf if it makes y'all happy!

I so agree about Nashville Star. I caught it about half the times the show was on. Jennifer Hicks has more talent then either Fantasia or Diana. I mised the fianl show ..even in reruns...who finally won...George or Brad....I was hoping for Brad.


I was watching E and they are doing a red carpet show. They were doing interviews and someone...unfortunately I didn't get who they were...said Diana has been on top the last 4 weeks. I wish I knew who she was talking to at the time. She said it was leaked to her by insiders.

They interviewed some of the top record producers in the nation. I certainly would take their expert knowledge over any of us so called DIS experts. LOL! There were 10 producers in the US so I think you might want to stop buying all music because I'm sure there are some in there that you purchase from. Also Clive that was on the show the other day was on TV a few days after he appeared and said that Fantasia was the true talent. It may take money to produce and album but it takes talent to sell it. Dianna will go nowhere. She may make it to wedding singer in her hometown but that is if she is lucky. Or she could beg Clay to take her along on his tour. LOL!

You know they can interview all the experts they want....but that doesn't mean a thing to me. I like certain music...so i don't buy everything the producers but out. Every has their likes and dislikes. Most singers/bands have their own fan following. So If i like your work I'll buy it...if I don't I won't. I won't buy Fantasia's cd.

I also won't buy Diana's.

I'm watching, and that last performance made me realize how much I miss Matt, George and LaToya. On the other hand, it also reminded me how bad some of the final 12 were!

Most certainly watching.....Rueban is just singing his top hit. I absolutely loved the medley all the top 12 finished a few minutes ago. and the out-take on Manilow as hilarious.
In my opinion whomever wins is the weakest Idol the show has produced yet. They'll have to adjust the voting somehow or it will turn into a total joke next year.

I totally agree about missing LaToya! She has a great voice and I hope that she gets a record deal out of this. Dianna is on now singing "I Believe" and she's hitting some bad notes in there...I'm rooting for her as a Ga. native, but I have to admit Fantasia does a better job on that song.

Just watched the I believe song from both. I don't like Fantasmic's version at all.

Doe anyone notice that Fantasia looks "spaced out" when she sings......ie. last night she kept looking up to the upper balcony. During I believe she kept looking down. Oh well, I didn't really watch this season but saw LaToya and IMHO was the best.

I miss LaToya, too. I thought she was a shoe-in winner. I also like Amy and George. Oh well. I am not passionate about either Fantasia or Diana like I was about Kelly and Clay.

UGGG...can't believe Fantasia won it...I think I am going to pass on watching all future american idols, they tick me off to much LOL. I am very dissapointed in this season. I don't think any were awesome but there were plenty better than Fantasia!!

I don't really care for her either, but I think she has done a good job the last couple of weeks. Her voice is a little too "raspy" to me. I don't like the ya ya's either....oh well, it's not like Dianna winds up with nothing. Don't all of the finalists go on tour this summer?
