Tonight was, in Simon's term, PAINFUL...

I felt so bad for the way they had to SCREAM over the band. Poor John S, he was so off key and flat.

My faves were George, Fantasia and Amy. I still thnk Amy looks like Bea Arthur, not Jay Leno!!

I think it's something about the way her chin looks. I can almost can see it - will have to study this more next week.

I don't like Fantasia but she sang that well.
I do like John S but he sang awful.
George sounded great tonight.
I also thought Jasmine did great!

Last season I was Clay all the way....never changed my mind at all. This season I'm just not that sure.

Bottom 3---- John S, John Lewis and Camile. John S will be going home. He was just horrible this week.

My favorite 3---Jasmine, Diana, George.

Both Jasmine and Diana are young, but seem so much more mature than John S and Camile. You can tell that Diana has performed alot in public. I also don't care for Fantasia, I didn't care for her rendition of the song. LaToya was off this week. I think the first 5 performers the band was so much louder than the second 5. George will soon be the only male performer left as John Lewis won't be going very far.

I also keep switching around who I like, I was all for Clay last year from start to finish.

The show is so much better being only 1 hour long.

OMG...I agree that tonight was PAINFUL!

Jasmine was wonderful again...I think I'm sticking with her for the rest of the competition. I really love Amy's voice and her personality...but I can't see her making it till the end..she's too "different" for most of the voters. George and Fantasia were really good tonight too.

John S. was TERRIBLE tonight...poor guy..he does need a couple more years. Camille still the worst of them all.

George was awesome tonight, he sang my favorite song!! He was great. Jasmine was also very good tonight. LaToya, while she has beautiful voice, bored me tonight. And that hair piece has to go. I still like Amy, and thought she did well tonight too.

I agree with everybody else. I liked Latoya, Jasmine and George the best. I was actually cringing when John Stevens was singing. Jennifer is way overdramatic when she sings. I wonder if that has to do with her cruise ship experience. Maybe she needed to be dramatic during her shows. It doesn't translate well on TV though.

Did anyone notice that Latoya's "cat on the head" hairstyle was the same one that Valerie (?) Simpson had? I swear the style was almost identical. I wonder what she thought of Simon's comment...

I thought that the Jay Leno comment was kind of cruel though.

That's exactly how it is for me! Ever since day 1 I knew it was going to be Clay. This season, I'm not blown away by anyone like with Clay.

Last year I loved Motown week! Almost everyone did great with it (especially Clay ). This year was not so good. I don't think anyone was outstanding today, and the band was definitely too loud.

I felt really bad that John S. did so bad. I really like him and I hope this one bad week doesn't hurt him. I know he seems to have a lot of fans, so hopefully they will all keep him in.

I'm surprised Randy said that Diana was so great! Half the performance was her just talking or telling the audience to go along with her, and the other half was "Do you love me."

I hope that Camile is the one to go this week (although I would prefer Diana or George, but I know that isn't happening anytime soon unfortunately ).

I think that John S, John P and LaToya were the worst this time. I just don't see why everyone is so down on Camille.

My favorites this week were Jasmine, Amy and George but like so many others I keep changing my mind. I also enjoyed seeing Simon apologize. That HAS to be a first!

I agree with most of you.
I think George, Amy, Jasmine and Fantasia were the best tonight. And I do not like Fantasia, but I give her credit where credit is due, she rocked with Heard it thru the Grapevine. Poor John (Red), he was horrible. I had hopes he would step up to the plate. I hope either Camille or Jennifer go tonight, I do not care for either of them. I am thinking my favorites are George and Amy (gotta pick one girl and one boy ), but think that the final two will probably be LaToya and Jasmine. We'll see.

My favorites are Amy, Latoya and Jasmine. Great voices. I simply cannot understand why everyone likes George so much, hes not a bad singer but hes bland.

Camille is weak even though I like her. Shes cute and sweet, but won't last much longer. JPL is such a geek. Fantasia is a good singer but I can't get over how much she sounds like Macy Grey (Gray?) and she has a sort of lisp or somethign that I just can't get used too.

I like Diane too. I enjoyed her performance. I hope shes not in the bottom 3 again.

Emily just LOVES the red headed boy John... but he was terrible tonight!

Jennifer was just OK tonight.

I had to go to my daughter's band concert tonight and missed the show. Looks like the theme was "Motown" and Fantasia sang "Heard It Through The Grapevine". Can anyone tell me what the other performers sang? Thanks!!!

Valerie had braids, Latoya had a weave so I don't think Val would've been insulted. I thought it was a bad choice but HECK it's only hair!

This is going to be a looooooooong season!! I think they just about lost half their following last night!

I like Amy, but I do see what Simon was talking about. She reminded me of someone but I couldn't put my finger on it until he said that. It's her chin that looks like Leno's. I didn't take that comment in a bad way, I understood what he meant. She's not ugly it's a resemblance, that's all.

I felt bad for John S. also, IMO he was the worst last night, with Camille and Jennifer right behind him.

I think that Fantasia is a great singer, but I don't care for her voice. It's to mousy for me, if that makes any sense at all.

Dianna is also very good, but she reminds me of a singing group of the 1970's (UP UP with People).

JPL is not for me, reminds me of the Lucky Charms guy and I don't think he sings very well either.

My favorites last night were Jasmine and George.

In general I was disappointed last night, no one really blew me away as in past seasons.

These two are consistently great!! I know a lot of you here don't care for her personality,but I think she has stage presence and TONS of confidence!! This girl is so comfortable on stage. I never feel nervous for Fantasia or George like I do for John S or some of the others because I know they're going to do well and I'm going to be entertained. I always fell a litle bad for some ofthe others cuz they're trying so hard and they're not doing well.

Our favs were George, Amy, Diana and JPL. Whats been bothering me week after week and I wish they would do soemthing about it is they are always cutting Simon off when he's talking! Wether its Ryan, Paula or the crowd booing him. Just let the man speak, I want to hear what he has to say!!!

I will absolutely scream if John goes instead of Camille!!! John has one bad week, while Camille has had three bad weeks. If John is booted just because of one bad shot when Camille stays, then there is something seriously wrong!
