Off To See Wicked! Comments?

Well, I'm off to see Wicked tomorrow. If any of you have any positive/negative comments about the musical, please post them here.

One of the best musicals I've seen. I read the book before I saw it on Broadway and I must say, it's extremely different. But I absolutely loved the musical. I'm seeing it here in a few weeks when it comes to our city. The soundtrack is EXTREMELY addicitive, and you will likely cry, but you'll laugh so hard that it balances out Let me know what you think of it! I'm sure you'll love it!

Haven't seen it but if you talk to Dlandchick she thinks it is the best musical ever. Seen it many times and I am sure she knows every song off by heart and soon will know all the words to the show. So have a great time.

Yes, I'm dlandchick, and I guess I must be famous for being so obsessed I think it's the best musical ever ( even though i've only seen two ) , and I'm even listening to it right now It's funny and the songs are great, and you will never see the Wicked Witch of the West the same again! But, my only negative comment is the bathroom line is very very long during intermission. Have fun!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Wicked is the BEST musical EVER! My friend and I are absolutely obsessed with it! I went to see it a couple years ago, and I'm going to see it again on August 1st, and possibly again August 25th. Both times we might have backstage passes because my grandma knows someone in it! I have the soundtrack and I listen to it ALL THE TIME - I think I know all the words to all the songs, . Have the most swankified time ever!

Anyway, i have listened to a couple of songs, which i think are fabulous. Actually, i've only listened to 2 LOL. My favorite out of the 2 was Popular, which i know most of the words for.

And since your going to be in the Big Apple (if you're not going to broadway, ignore this paragraph, LOL), go to the Big Toys R Us stor! LOL. You will be AMAZED at what they sell there!! Bring me back a souvenir!! hehe

I actually think Wicked is touring. I don't pay much attention to the tour news bc I go see it in Chicago.

Wicked is a awesome musical I saw it day before yesterday, It was showing in downtown Chicago, It was amazing, the only thing I didn't like was the Galinda/Glinda she was an understudy, after the scene when she asked Fiero to marry her she tripped off stage and when she sang popular she couldn't hold the high notes, compared to the orignal it was horrible.. Elphaba on the other hand was awesome, I thought she was the orignal Elphaba, she did everything perfect. My friend Leah, who came with me didn't like the understudy Fiero and neither did I. He didn't exactly fit the part, because much like Galinda/Glinda he seemed too perky in the saddest scenes.
Overall Wicked was the best Musical I have ever seen! It rocks I highly suggest seeing it.

I am a HUGE fan of Broadway musicals, and Wicked is probably one of the best from this decade so far. We saw it on tour in Tampa, and it was great. Our Glinda was AWESOME, better that Kristin Chennowith (sp?) but our Elphie was bad. If you like Wicked, and have an open mind and a slightly sick sense of humor, check out a musical called Avenue Q (it beat Wicked for that year's Tony). It's great!
