Off site Hotel Questions

Hello

I’m coming over from the UK. I already have my theme park tickets.

If I book an offsite hotel for one night would I qualify for the Disney early access for that morning? Do I get a MDE code or just show booking confirmation? Or do you only qualify if you buy the tickets from the hotel?

Any other tips people can recommend to improve the trip.

@Disney4ever50, IOW, you're staying one night offsite and then checking into a Disney hotel, right? You're considered a guest at the Disney hotel from around 6 AM the day you'll check in to the Disney hotel, so you should be able to enter parks early that morning by showing your reservation in MDE or the confirmation. I'd suggest checking in online, too.

Insofar as other tips go, we like our Magic Bands - so much easier to enter parks, pay for things (charge to your resort bill), and have ride photos automatically link to your MDE. I know they won't send them to you in the UK, but if you haven't bought them and they aren't waiting at the resort, you could buy them at the first gift shop you see and link them to your MDE that morning.

We we’re looking at staying at the B resort and spa to qualify for the early access, but didn’t know if I just show my booking confirmation or if they give a code for MDE. Or if I was totally misunderstanding the rules.

If your B Resort reservation is linked and shows in your MDE, that should work, but I'd probably have a copy of my confirmation in my pocket as well.
