Some people do have our last name with an S added to the end, but ours doesn't have the S. When people ask if it has an S and I tell them no, they'll ask, "Are you sure?" Yeah, pretty sure.

for spelling my name the way they did, its what they chose for me. The only time I worry about telling someone how to correctly spell it is if they are looking up a record with my name in it, or it is a legal document...otherwise, they can spell it in the common form, it does not bother me at all.
