October Question

I KNOW this has been asked "infinitum"!!!, BUT I never needed to know that answer, so I never READ the thread!!!

How busy can I expect it to be the first week-end in October. This would be October 1-4, the first week-end of the F & W festival. Also, how busy can I expect MNSSHP to be??? So far I've gone in July, August (a bunch) and first week in December. How will this compare. Thanks!!!

I'll be in WDW from Oct 10 - 15th this year, so I've read a lot of the "October" threads. From what I've read, MNSSHP is not too crowded earlier in the month. Or I guess I should say, it doesn't normally sell out.

Crowd-wise, I don't think it's gonna be too bad either. I'll be there over Columbus Day, so I think that may be a little more crowded, but the beginning of the month should be good (not as busy as peak).

As far as F&W, I don't really know. I don't think we'll be doing too much of that this trip with my kids being so young, but from what I've read, it's more busy on the weekends, and if you can, try to experience it during the afternoons of weekdays.

You should see waaaay better crowds then July or August. The weekends at the F&W can be alittle busy. So hit that on a weekday if possible. Also, in the past the MNSSHP tend to be less crowded. The only glitch you may come across is rain, rain and more rain. If there is a hurricane (still prime season then for them), then you may need to bring lots of shoes for dry feet. Now, the up side to a washout is that the crowds are really low and wait times turn to walk ons!!! So, rain at WDW isn't always a bad thing!!

Should be less crowds than in July or August. Had an enjoyable trip last year to MNSSHP around the same time, but by far the least crowded time Ive ever gone was first week of December, so October will probably still be a bit more crowded than that, but still enjoyable...have fun!
