October codes for WL?

I know you guys are sick of these "what if" questions but I am thinking of trying the WL for the last night of our Oct 23-29 trip. What code price did you guys get in the past and what view did you have? For one night should I go for the more $$$ view of take the standard? TIA!

I used a code (mousesavers) for our visit in Feb 05. 138 per nite woods view and was upgraded to courtyard view at checkin. Love the lodge. I would book a standard or woods view to try the lodge the first time and hope pixie dust gets sprinkled your way. You can then decide for your next trip if it is worth the $$$ to stay there again. I sure would!!

Thanks Cindy. In all my trips I have never even visited the WL! I am excited to stay there. I will do as you said and save the $$ and book the standard view since it is only for one night then decide if I like the Lodge. If we go back I will spend more for a better view. Good idea!
