Anyone getting flu shots? Is it true that they won't let you board the ship if they suspect you are sick? What about the fact that you can have minor flu like symptoms a week or two after getting the shot? Will a Dr. note help?

The problem is the whole swine flu thing. The shots won't be available for another week or two. But if you can then develop symptoms a few weeks after I'm worried. Is it better to get the shot or not?

My family has been getting the Flu shot for the past 7 years...when I was 7 months preg on Kierra I got the flu and was in the hosiptal for 2 weeks...never again. However this year I may not have the option...the Canadian gov may ban the flu shot as they say it may increase your chances of H1N1.

You should have a handle/hanger on the top of yours. You DO need to take a tie wrap to use to hold it on the Fish. It will stay, BUT the tie wrap is only to make sure that it doesn't .... walk off ... while you're on the cruise.[/QUOTE]

Time to really start putting a list together and making a pile of things to pack.

Kelly their is a typo on the website for the Halloween Cruise Navigators. It should read Halloween Cruise 2008 Navigator not 2009. I am not that priveleged to get this years Navigators!

Great list! Last time I saw two movies, I might be in the theaters a little more this cruise.



I hope we all have our regular flu shots before we go. Adam already got his. His school was giving them out. Eric and I usually get ours at work for free, but I have not heard a thing yet. Maybe they are waiting for swine flu vac for some reason?

Getting sick before this cruise (or on the cruise) is my biggest fear.

I think I might have some frozen drinks, soak my feet in a bucket of crystal clear warm salt water, listen to Caribbean Music!

Then I will probably do all the printing of the Cruise projects that we have ongoing!

We are headed to Ocean City this weekend. It's our 11th anniversary and we are going to spend some quality family time together. (Thinking about the cruise every minute, of course! )

I'm going to be working on FE gifts and going to start laying stuff out. Sounds like I might need to make a shopping trip to get things like zip ties and shoe organizer.
My non-cruise activity this weekend is going to see Wicked on Saturday night.

Yes .... definitely get those zip ties! And get zippy bags to take with you. You WILL find a need for them on the trip.

Don't be sorry.. I am actually ok with everything I need to get done. So far I am right on schedule and I built this weekend into my preparations for cruise calendar

Besides... I may get some inside dish on one of our cruise mates and what she is really like in the non-DIS world as we found out she went to HS with one of my HS Friends and we will be together this weekend (HS Friend not cruisemate)..

With the exception of the ones (3 sets) for which I'm awaiting payment, the lanyards are READY to go. Whew!!!!!!!!! I will be sending out 18 boxes total.

I better finish my FE and finish making the gifts or I will be in serious trouble soon. we have about 30 made and still need to make another 30ish.

I also need to make a list of things that we are going to need so we can get shopping and get everything soon so we don't feel too stressed out the week we leave.
