I better finish my FE and finish making the gifts or I will be in serious trouble soon. we have about 30 made and still need to make another 30ish.

I also need to make a list of things that we are going to need so we can get shopping and get everything soon so we don't feel too stressed out the week we leave.

Woohoo!! Have fun with that, Jeff!!!

Great idea!

Hey .... does anyone know if the doors at Port Orleans are metal?? If so, I will need to make more magnets......... :lmao:

I'm going to be working on FE gifts and going to start laying stuff out. Sounds like I might need to make a shopping trip to get things like zip ties and shoe organizer.
My non-cruise activity this weekend is going to see Wicked on Saturday night.

OMG, Wicked is awesome! I have seen it twice on broadway!! I listen to the CD all the time in the car too:) Enjoy

Question of the week ..... What do you plan to do this weekend that is 'cruisy' ??? :)

Well, we have cheer choreography ALL weekend (10-6 Sat and 11-6 Sun) so around that time, I will finish FE gifts. Eric is finishing t-shirts tomorrow.

Have a good time!

We are headed to Ocean City this weekend. It's our 11th anniversary and we are going to spend some quality family time together. (Thinking about the cruise every minute, of course! :))

If you feel like heading west about an hour, come out our way. Oh wait, kind of hard to explain to the kids how you know us. :rotfl:

Ok ....

With the exception of the ones (3 sets) for which I'm awaiting payment, the lanyards are READY to go. :) Whew!!!!!!!!! I will be sending out 18 boxes total.

I will put confirmation on here when I mail them tomorrow. I believe they should be received by Monday or Tuesday.

Hi Shell! I sent the money for Kierra & Alicia's on Monday. Thanks so much for doing this! I am so excited about the MNSSHP!

You mean I can't tell them they have an Aunt Jen and Uncle Eric they didn't know about. Oh and a couple of cousins!!! We'll all be together soon enough. Enjoy your weekend.

I need to make our shirts but don't have the iron-on transfers yet.
I know I need to buy the dark ones, but what brand? When I go to AC Moore or Michaels, they don't have the Avery brand. Should I go around town and really try to find the Avery ones? Are they that much better?

When I do them, I know
1 - wash the shirts first
2 - don't press too hard with iron
Any other advice? We made shirts once before and they SUCKED. Don't want to fall into that trap again.

Jeff -

We bought ours at the office supply store, don't remember if it was Staples or Office Depot but Ive seen them at both. I washed ours and then just followed the directions exactly as they stated in the package.

It was easy.. You will do just fine

Post pictures when your done :)

I used Avery for the logo on the back, but I think I used Hanes (the ones from craft stores, usually) for the pockets.

I bought the Avery ones at Office Depot, I believe.

Not Sure What brand We are using, But we picked them up at AC Moore for Dark Fabrics.

We will be doing both the Front and Back, so someone can identify us coming or going!

I will have black and the girls will be in orange, the large graphic will be on back on all four shirts, (3 Orange/ 1 Black) and the pocket logos on front wil be diffrent based on color of shirt.

Which logo are you putting on the black and which on the orange?
When we print them, do we need to do something to print in the mirror image, or do the just print normal?
How does it work with all of the white/unused space on the page? Does that come out clear or white?
I saw the pictures that Kelly posted and they don't seem to have a boarder, so I am curious if they come out clear and that clean around the edges, or if Kelly did a fabulous job cutting around them.

I got the Avery brand at WalMart.

Both, or at least that's what I attempted.

I used both logos on both colors. Small one on front, big one on back.

DO NOT flip the dark transfer images.

CUT the logos out - do not leave all the extra white. EVERY bit of white will show - it does NOT come out clear.

Is anyone doing the dolphin encounter either at Grand Caymans or Cozumel?

We are not this year, but we did do the one in Cozumel last year.

LOL sounds like a plan to me. If we were not so busy this weekend, we could head that way. Actually, I have not been to OC all summer!!!

We used some off brand. They worked well (so far). I would look at a t-shirt you have for proper placement where you want them. Our first attempt, the back graphic was to far down.

The paper we had, you did not need it to be mirrored. Had something to do with dark t-shirts. We cut out so we would not have the white border.

We are doing the dolphin encounter in Grand Caymans.

I'm so excited. I got the adult FE gifts done. :woohoo:Just need to assemble the kids now. Starting to pack. I know I'm going to need to make some trips to the store. DH is going suit shopping today. (Using this trip as an excuse to get a new suit.) DS wants a pair of shoes to go with his "suit". It's so exciting to get new clothes. Have a great weekend
