Hi all.. Big news in my house..

My oldest son, who turns 25 on Halloween got engaged last nite.

He and Mallory have been dating for 4 years so not a huge surprise. We are SO excited.

They plan on getting married next October.. They told me now so I wouldnt book a cruise

Hi Jaime,

I have to be honest and say that they are not thrilled with their cabin. They booked a CAT 12 and they got a CAT 12. We do understand the fact that they did get what they paid for, but it seems like most of the CAT 12's have been upgraded and it is disappointing that they did not get an upgrade. They will survive and we'll still have a blast but it was a letdown...

They are in 2017.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!! I have a four day weekend this weekend, so I'm pretty excited!

The next time you email your concierge friend can you confirm what nights are what in regards to the dinner rotations (Formal night, semi-formal, pirates, Capt. gala, etc.). Everything here on the boards seems to contradict each other

Hey guys - we got our cabin assignment too - a 12 to a 9! We are in 2026. I can't believe we got a porthole (girls are going to love it!)

Sorry I have been MIA. Taryn is still going to specialists to just make sure all is well (she is feeling and acting great). Once she was better, Mike's grandmother passed away, so we were busy with family and funeral arrangements.

I should be back to regular posting and chats. Can you believe only 6 weeks to go!

Woohoo!!! That's wonderful to hear. Really funny that they wanted to make sure you didn't book a cruise for next October. They should get married on the ship.



Jaydin's birthday party is tomorrow. I can't believe it's here ... and that we're so close to leaving. Wow. Only 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my room assignment and we are now a cat. 10 on deck 1 cabin 1049. I'm happy with my assignment. I've never been on the lower decks before so this will be a first. Hopefully we'll like it.

We are neighbors - we're in 1054 We were down on Deck One last time. We liked it down there - it was quiet, and easy to walk up to Deck4 for dinner instead of waiting for an elevator. We have one super easy FE gift delivery!

Okay guys, I am started to freak out a little. As some of you know, my printer is out of commission (like all the other computer stuff in my house. )

I was planning on going to my parents one weekend and print everything out, t-shirt logos, magnets... Well, we now have cheerleading choreography the weekend I was planning. AGH!!!!!

So, my dad said to get everything to him and he will print it all for me. So, my question for you all is - the t-shirt logos files saved on the website, are those the correct size or will there be some adjustments to be made? I am going to save everything on a flash drive for him, but I want him to be able to just click and print and not worry about adjustments.

Hello everyone:

According to the Disney Cruise Line website September 17 was the determination date for those that had a Fuel surcharge added to their reservation when they booked their cruise prior to Dec. 1, 2008 to receive a refund in the form of a onboard credit if the cost of fuel was below 70 dollar a barrel. It was supposed to show on your reservation details on mycruise on the DCL website.

I checked mine this morning and do not see the information posted on my cruise details on the website. Is anyone else waiting to see if they are getting the fuel surcharge refund? If so, have you checked your cruise details to see if it is posted on you cruise details on the website. I guess I will wait to the end of day for responses from those in the same boat.

Just spoke with Disney Cruise Reservation Agent by phone to question on status of Fuel Surcharge. She stated that according to Disney stated policy on Fuel surcharge that since fuel closed higher than 70.00 per barrel on September 17, 2009 that Disney would not be crediting those persons that booked prior to December 1, 2008 would not be receiving a credit of the fuels surcharge that was added to their trip. I asked her if I was to book today for our cruise would I be charged a fuel surcharge based on the fact that fuel closed over 70 dollars a barrel on September 17 which was the determining date for the fourth quarter 2009 sailings? She said that she had not been provided that information.

The shirt logo's are full size and print on 8 1/2 x 11.

Worked with no problems for me.

I printed our front pockets 2 to a sheet using the orange trim for the black shirts and the black trim for the orange shirts.

I finally decided on my FE gifts We had an extra long family craft time to make them but everyone pleased with the outcome The girls think they helped me make gifts for clients I was only able to get enough supplies for 34 so if we have any late comers I will get them something different. I just need to get the children gifts finished and I am ready!

Hi Kristi...that's to bad they didn't get an upgrade...I think they will like the location though. It is great for getting to the adult only area's of the ship...we had a cat 10 just done the hall on our first cruise. I had cruisemates who stayed in a cat 12 and the room was the same as the cat 11's...just location wise it was by the cat 9 & 10's.

My MNNSHP tickets got lost in the mail No problem though I am going to pick them up at the AKV now instead.

Pretty neat feeling We got our magical express tickets this morning! They are for the resort we have been waitlisted for though so maybe we have gotten some extra pixiedust! I'll find out for sure on Monday.

Not sure in Cozumel but in Key West we dock at Mallory Square, Pier B.

I just finished our t-shirts! They didn't turn out too bad (for a first timer). I had some problems with the iron on paper jamming in the printer, but was able to finally get the sheets printed out.

In Conzumel, we dock at the Punta Langosta pier. The pier is across the street from the Punta Langosta mall. This is the near the center of town. According to Passporter it's about 5 blocks south of Muelle Fiscal, the city's central plaza. Buena suerta!

Good morning fellow cruisers! I was wondering what everyone is doing for excursions? So far, I have the Seven Mile Beach excursion for Grand Cayman and Cozomel Beach Break (I think it's called??). What are the rest of you doing? Are you doing any excursions on your own, and if so, what are the details? I'm getting excited!
