OCTOBER 30th & NOVEMBER 3rd Cruises (FE and Meets)

No Palo brunch? Oh, thats the one thing we wanted to book besides the kayak and hike on castaway cay. Guess it won't be worth staying up till midnight to try and get it Aug 1st.

If they only do brunch on sea days, that leaves one possibility. On our 7-day, it was offered on a couple of port days so I had no trouble finding one to work for us.

I know from previous cruises, Palo brunch ressies continue to change in availability until sail date. I knew it would be tough to get, because we only have 1 sea day, but I figured I would be able to, being platinum. I'm sure they released only partial availability last night, and will release more when each level opens for booking. I will definitely keep checking, and also will try once we get onboard. I really wish they would offer Palo brunch even on some port days, as there are many times we would rather stay and eat a glorious brunch instead of an excursion.

I'm hopeful for those of you checking in on Aug 1st that availability is there for you!

Wow, I am surprsied that it is already sold out. One possibility would be to book the private dining area. I have done that before and would be willing to coordinate again (if it is available). If it is the same as on the Magic, there can only be 14 total.

I guess we can see what the availability is or I can try to set it up now. If anyone is interested let me know.

palo goes fast and with one sea day it will be hard to get but u never know nothing is set till sail day and palo brunch is the only thing we do cause its sooo worth it compared to dinner there.

hope everyone is well we had a one yr old bbq party to attend today which was great they had awesome food and a bounce house the bad party it was humidity of 107

I think I read/saw that the private room on the Dream is where they put the extra food tables for brunch, at least that is what the photos make it look like, check out the wall paper in the background of both photos below.

Oh, that sounds like something we would be interested in. My thought is they released only a small number of brunch ressies, and that they release more when the next booking window opens.

I went ahead and inquired about the private dining room. I will let you know what I find out.

Howdy everyone,

I just had a minute free so I thought I would drop by and say Hello.

I will have more time to post after the 23rd. Until then I am busy planning every phase of a family reunion. Its grown from 20 to almost 50 people so I have alot of things yet to do. Just the name tags alone will be a 2 day job for me, plus I put together a family tree that I am now proof reading. Then I will make copies for everyone. Plus I need to design a sign in sheet, a photo board , a memory/story board and make sure the food everyone is bringing is organized so we dont have 30 potato salads:lmao:

Of course then I need to make my foods to bring and I am the one who is arriivng early to set up all the tables with cute table clothes, set up the BBQ, put up 3 canopies for shade, organise extra folding chairs etc..
In other words I am in charge of everything:thumbsup2

I am also the one who searched for 6 months to try and find all the relatives I never knew existed.;) I loved every minute of it all too.

So after that is done I will be around more. Although I may need a vacation to recover:rolleyes1

Back when I can, lots to do today still,

Kathy

We did this on our Magic cruise and enjoyed it! I'd definitely be interested in it again!

Stephanie,

Do you notice if there are still Cabanas open on the Family beach? DM and I are really interested in trying one this set of cruises.

1 Cabana (Cabana #5 at the Family Beach-none at Serenity Bay) left as of this morning (7/5). I wish I could justify $499 for a beach day...not for us, that's 1/3 the cost of another cruise...but since we live in FL, we know we will be cruising again asap. My BFF and her family did a cabana last year and she said it was great! There were 6 of them. For the 3 of us, just isn't something we will splurge on, so at least you know it won't be me booking the one left available.

Also, it looks as if every excursion is still available in Nassau. Castaway Cay excursions...1 cabana left, and there are no reservations available for the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel excursion.

Morning all,

hope everyone had a great weekend.

We stayed home and watched movies, sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and used the BBQ.

I am still working on my family tree and reunion but wanted to drop by to say Hello.

Back when i can,

Kathy

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

Ours was pretty productive! We did some purging of items and are working to get things organized for school to start next month. I have been searching for bunkbeds for the girls for a while and finally found some at a furniture store in a small town 75 miles from here! I thought it is funny that they are only charging $10 more to deliver than the company we bought our bedroom furniture from and it is 2 miles from here!

I'll be busy arranging our "classroom" and moving stuff around to also house my craft stuff. Hopefully things will settle in before our cruise. If not, then we will have a few days of relaxing!!!

I heard from DCL and you are right. They do use the private room for the extra food. Ugh. Maybe we will be trying Remy's this trip.
