Plus my sister Disney_Alli and my mom and dad and DH and I have decided to sail on the Fantasy Oct 6th 2012. I'm going to book onboard so we can get the OBC and the discount so I really want to get on the ship.

Hi! We're waiting to book our Fantasy (July 2012) on this cruise too so we can get an OBC! I'm curious just how much that is... Do you have an idea? A friend told me that it's like $300-400 discount per person... If that's the case, WOW!

Are there anyone else with younger children on this Halloween cruise? (I thought there would be more).

On our last Disney Cruise, we also had a disgroup going. A bunch of us moms agreed to bring some goodies for the kids, and the 2nd day of the cruise we all got together to make each child a goody bag, booked a lunch together and gave them away during lunch. The kids were so happy to receive them. We stuffed pirate earrings, eye patch, tops, some candy, etc (something that you could buy in bulk). Even though we didn't spend all of our time with the disboard group, it was nice to see them around the ship and that you know there's always a friendly smile or wave coming your way when you see them.

Someone also made tags for all of us in the group that we attached with our DCL lanyards which was very cool. Someone made door magnets and even made a special magnet for my daughter who turned 4 while aboard the ship.

All this was + of course Disney magic made our cruise fantastic!

I have a feeling that we'll have another WONDERful experience this time around

Nenis has a 2 year old daughter. However, she hasn't been on the boards for a number of weeks now. I hope she is still coming on the cruise.

I don't know what the amount is for booking a Fantasy cruise on board. Sometimes they offer an increased discount for certain cruises. Last September they were offering 20% discount on the cruises to the Med. In January all cruises booked on board where a 10% discount. You also received OBC depending on your castaway member category. We got a $275 OBC. The downpayment amount was reduced too, I think it was 10%. We always book a dummy cruise, picking the cheapest cruise as far out as we can so our downpayment amount is real low, like $200. Then we move the booking when we know what we want to go on. This gets us the discount, OBC and downpayment %. That is what we did for the Hawaii trip. At the time we were onboard the cruise was not even announced but we thought it might be coming. Because this is a pretty costly cruise, the 10% really made a difference.

I may have warned you that this is a very quiet group. People are busy with planning and work I think.
We did the DCL tequila making and MX villages excursion in PV. The tequila factory was interesting but the rest was a waste of time and very disappointing. We walked around Cabo by ourselves.

I don't think we have firmed up anything. I think we might be doing the FE, but don't know how many are interested. A few told me they might be interested in a Champagne Girls get together (posting 40). Right now, 6 of us are interested in exploring a mixology - drink of day private session (posting 167). Welcome! Val's right about the planning. I've trying to plan a wedding right now too while working a crazy job.. AND thanks to Val's heads up, we rebooked our cruise to get in on the Southern CA resident discount!! It's been nuts. I'm super excited to see so many people join this cruise's board. Hi everyone! We just booked our cruise this morning.... Better late than never We booked ours through Costco and wasn't aware of the DCL discount.

This is only our 2nd Disney Cruise... But we're super excited to go during Halloween! Will your kids (or parents) be in Halloween costumes? What are the some of the activities on board for Halloween?

AND yes, Vince & I are planning on wearing costumes for Halloween. And when I say "we" I mean I'm planning on having costumes ready to roll for both of us even though Vince isn't a 'dress up' person.. I think he'll change his tune when he sees how festive it's going to be on board.

Yes, thank goodness. She's going to be making basically the same cakes & design. But she's also adding extras & gave us a price break for booking our favors through her too! So relieved!

We are so excited because we learnt today the we are going to be staying at Grand California for 4 days after the cruise. They are offering a special military rate that makes it a good, not great, but good deal. Also, I had done a very very small favor for someone and in return he is getting us dinner reservations at Club 33 while we are there for 4 of us. I am soooo excited. Someone with Radio Disney had taken us to lunch there years ago but I have never been there for diner.

Wow, Club 33 I'm super jealous!!

4 months from today DH and I will be in Disneyland for our pre-cruise 6 night stay!!

Work has been crazy and as I am training new associates I can't be on the boards at work (where I tend to do a lot of my reading) so I've been missing out. I think DH and I may dress up for halloween but it will probably be as a Disney bride and groom with ears as we have lots from our wedding last year!

So exciting! Brett and I had dinner there with some friends last month, it was so much fun! Our reservation was at 9pm, so Fantasmic was going on during our meal and we watched part of it from the balcony - but only a small part, because the trees were blocking some of the view - still very cool! We closed down the restaurant, but they didnt hurry us out. They let us take our time and take pictures and enjoy our bottle of wine - yes, Club 33 is the only place in the Magic Kingdom where you can buy wine You are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!

Tell me what you guys think. My t-shirt guy said he could do the shirts, he would use a digital print and said they would work on white or ash gray shirts. They would be $8 each.

Tell me what you all think, I know someone (Val, I think) showed a sampled from Vista Print that was on a darker gray shirt, maybe everyone would like that better? let me know My feelings won't be hurt if we decide to go with someone else

Happy Halloween. Hi Yall!!!! My name is Joni and my family and I will be joining your merry bunch.

I am a planner. A major planner (just warning you!!!) I have to do the FE. I refuse to go on a Disney boat without that. This will be our first Disney cruise and I am on cloud 9. I just cancelled a 3 day cruise on the Dream and booked this one. The kids sail free offer helped. I bet it will help get more cruisers on here. By 75 days out (Aug 16) we should have a better look at who all is going.

Let me introduce my bunch - We are the ones who walk around Disney in matching outfits. Not just shirts but fully matching outfits. We are totally addicted to all things Disney. We have been to WDW numerous times but never to DL as a family - that will change before this trip. We are starting our vacation with a 3 day trip to DL.

I was too excited about posting so I just read the first few pages and the last 2. I am going to reread it all in a min. I am so excited to meet all of you. I'm so glad to hear that you have kids the same age as my DD

We just booked this cruise last week! Kids sailing free is an awesome deal that we couldn't pass up. We plan to book our 2012 Fantasy cruise onboard to get OBC

I'm a planner too! But we might have overdone our last Disney cruise, so this time around, we're just going to chillax a little.

Are you planning to take the kids zip lining or to the dolphin swim? I haven't planned our port days just yet... Just looking into it now.
