Except that its humid humid humid, rains everyday and has SNAKES!! Oh and no Disneyland.

;)

RJ - I am with you! Too cold. Light a beeg fire in the fireplace and beat the pants off the family at Disney Scene It! :thumbsup2 A perfect way to spend the evening.

'Cept I gotta run out and mail a package. I want to be a part of the busiest shipping day of the year. :thumbsup2

Hi dudes!!

TRM - We will have heep big fire on Christmas Eve whilst we open presents!
Who else opens presents on Christmas Eve? Any of you peeps still uncivilized and waiting until Christmas morning? :rotfl2:

As for Disney Scene It and other assorted games, we are saving ourselves to beat the pants off of some other poor unsuspecting fools, around New Years!

:teeth: :teeth:

And you're right, Florida has no Disneyland... but they have this other little attraction that is starting to get some attention, it's called DisneyWorld. ;)

If Disneyland is a single cold beer, DisneyWorld is a week long kegger! :lmao: :lmao:

(Hey, I use the analogies that make sense to ME!)

Hi Cheri !! :wave2:

Hi ophie !! :wave2:

Hi SueEllen!! :wave2:

Hi tiggerandpooh!! :wave2:

Hi anyone else I forgot!

Hey Betsy - Bite my buns!!

Bleh! It was too hot today. I shouldn't be sweating in December. Gross gross gross. How in the world is it supposed to feel like Christmas if it's 80 freakin degrees??? :crazy2:

Well, seein' as how I grew up in a very European (you're a peein') family wherein ALL Christmas presents are ALWAYS opened on Christmas Eve, I suppose you can count me in the civilized crowd. Civilized, that is, if you think opening gifts in the flickering and warm light of a fire in the evening whilst casually sipping cordials, champagne, or other similar beverage after indulging in a fabulous Christmas feast is not uncivilized!! :thumbsup2
Then again, being woken up at the crack of dawn and opening them while munching on a breakfast bar and sipping coffee in the stark light of day, I suppose, is better than nothing.... :rotfl2:

we broke a record high today--it was 78degrees!!! Ummmm, it is December right?

:cool1:  hi everyone!!

cards are finally in the mail, and a few things sent in the mail. Still haven't managed to get my monster size tree up yet (sigh) Steve's working overtime every day it seems and I have still been sick (finally got an antibiotic in me) Darn sinus infection!!!

We always open at least one present on Christmas Eve as weel, so I suppose I have some culture :rotfl:

(hugs)

Hey! Seems to me somebody (who shall remain nameless) opens his presents from me on Christmas morning... and since when is "the crack of dawn" 8:00am? Champagne on Christmas Eve and then again for breakfast while watching the huge smiles on the kids faces (priceless!!!). :woohoo:

When I was a kid, we always got to open one present on Christmas Eve. It took me about 12 years to figure out that it was always p.j's.

Champagne... :thumbsup2

new pj's..... :thumbsup2

spending time with friends......priceless :grouphug:

He will be so surprised! I actually managed to get something he really wants..I just hope he didn't order it for himself!!

I have been hiding under a fan! It is not supposed to be 80°F in December. Today is the first day of winter supposedly.

Hi back! :wave2:

GSD...

80 sounds good to me :thumbsup2 (but then again you have been known to shovel snow drifts in shorts, so I guess I understand :lmao: )

"All I want for Christmas is a real good tan" :woohoo:

ya know... palm tree with christmas lights, sand between my toes
