Well I have barely begun my shopping (but I have a couple of packages going out in the mail by the weekend *I HOPE*)

Packages are arriving in the mail (woo hoo! I like packages)

I'm working on Christmas Cards (finally found my cards that we had made on the ship last year--figures!) I hope to have cards out by the weekend as well. Some days.....

almost done shopping!!! 3 more things to buy and the best part is ... I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!!! No wandering aimlessly around the mall with a dazed look on my face I think I deserve a cookie

Someone has been sick in this house since we returned from WDW -

NOTHING is wrapped. I have packages under my tree from RJ, Cheri and my boss. I figure the cats don't count.

DD birthday party is this afternoon. DH has been out of town.

Still need packages for brother, dad, brother in law, sister in law, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, stepdad, DD and DH, stepbrother & wife, stepsister & husband....

Christmas cards!!? Are you kidding me!? I have to ORDER those today while at Costco picking up birthday cake for birthday party.

Maybe I will mail those someday. Heck never mailed the Halloween or Thanksgiving cards I addressed to all y'all.

At least I can relate to Sue Ellen. She works on my timeline!

I say we forget Christmas and go on a cruise!!

My bosses took the main people to dinner last night with our spouses..we went to this place called "The Strip House"..a steak place with a play on the words strip house..it looks like a burlesque house ..my one boss, who is younger than I am tells me to order the surf and turf..because I love lobster...they bring me a 3 lb lobster WITH a NY Strip...holy cr@p!! No to mention the huge platter of stone crabs and other assorted seafood they ordered for the table...Rick and I had to leave as soon as we sucked down the food because we had Kate at a "Parents Night Out" at school and we had to pick her up by 10pm...as it was..we were 15 minutes late..i wish it hadn't been so rushed because we had a great time...but with 9 people, everything took longer..3 hour meal and it wasn't even over when we left!!
I couldn't drink because I am on Flagyl for an infection that won't seem to go away related to surgery...they told me if I drank, I would end up in the hospital...so that stunk, but I guess it was more fun to watch my two bosses (who are SIL and FIL) get totally plastered and start saying stuff like "Stop talking about b@nging my daughter" and "It's better than hearing about you b@nging mum"
