:yay: Hi all!

Hey Luckey! I am kinda with you on that heat thing. Betsy forgets there is this thing called humidity. Me no likey. Summer cruises not an option for me. DD still in grade school:thumbsup2
umm... isn't that why you go in the summer?

HMMMMM A Christmas Double Dip ! That could be a deffinate possibility :goodvibes . Maybe I'll give the old Tenor person a ring.

Oh Grand Canyon , I'm afraid its about 8 hours from us, it kind of depends on what rim you go to. Zion and Bryce Canyon in Utah is only about 3 - 4 hours away. If you've never been I highly reccomend it !

Also Sedona is about 5 hours away. I've never been but I hear great things about it.

Check out www.thetrain.com

Luckey - What is Las Vegas!!? The City that what....?

And it's official, not going on Christmas 2008 cruise. I was waiting until darling husband Neil came home from business trip to book. Seeing as how $7000 is above the "items I can charge without permission" amount. And well....he blew the engine in his truck coming home from bakersfield.:headache:

So...no cruise...going to have to purchase new vehicle instead. Ford Motors here we come.

Maybe 2010.? Oh please make it 2010. Guess I will just have to go to Disneyland more.

And Cheri...the humidity is worse in the summertime. That why me no likey. Can you say big hair! :scared1: Kinda like that only curly.

T&P :thumbsup2 on the repo! That is going to be great!

Don't forget to contact my man Timmy! X-Plan pricing for friends, baby!

Right, TZM? :)

Hello, is this thing on?

/
Does that Xplan work for company vehicles?? I need a new pick up for my super and they are talking about a Ford ...

AAAAAGGGGGG! Polly Pockets are taking over my house !!!

Is it wrong to liquidate your childs "stock" while their at school ? ....I think not.

Besides if it's buried in the closet how can you play with it!

Sorry Johnna the only things I can think of are Sin City and Lost Wages :goodvibes .

We've got lots of lights and we never sleep but those were already taken.:rotfl:

It depends on the programs we are running at the time. Call me tomorrow and we will see what we can do.

Hey I didn't get offered the phone call! Now I am just offended.:headache:

Ok not really. But since Beano offered your Xplan up...how does it work?
Do you go in, haggle and then surprise them with the whammy? Does it work in conjunction with current deals or special rebates...since Ford just sent us one in the mail today. Coincidence..?? I think not.

We were thinking of waiting until Presidents Weekend. Known for big car sales...but getting up at 6 am to take Neil to the train is not my idea of bonding time with the husband. But if it does not matter....

OK guess I should have sent that PM - sorry everyone - you got to read it.

I know these questions are for Tim, but since I am online and he ain't, I'll share my limited knowledge.

Tim can generate an X-plan PIN, which your dealer uses to get you the plan price, so you don't have to go through the haggling phase. The x-plan price is the x-plan price. And as far as company vehicles; when I bought my company van on the x-plan, I had to register it in my name, so I guess it can't be used for corporate purchases.

That's it in a nutshell, from my severely limited point of view.

Cheri - Love the graphic! (But Coors Light headquarters needs to be moved closer to the actual bar. It's too far away, and that gives Beano anxiety attacks.) :rotfl:

That could work for our sailaway t-shirts; and we better hurry! Only have a year and a half to get them printed! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Thanks Beano.

I still wanna add my extra "Ford Loyalty Discount";)

OK - Tim - if the offer stands...whip me up one of them there X-plan PIN numbers! Tell me again which vehicles it works on. Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Jag those are the only ones I remember. Not that Jag is on the shopping list mind you.

A shopping we will go. But not tonight. It's raining. Blech.

Well, Beano was mostly right. Since he last used an x-plan pin, some things have changed a bit. The biggest change has been the ability to use pins for a business. You no longer have to register it in your name. You can register it in the business name.

Here is what you do....

You give me some basic info:

Name
Address
Phone
Last 4 of SSN
email address
and the vehicle you wish to purchase.

I create the PIN #. You take it to a dealer. From there, they give you the X-plan price, showing it to you on the dealer invoice is a requirement! You get that price, plus any rebates or Ford Credit money that might be available. Dealers can charge you a document fee but not other dealer fees. That is against the rules. Of course, if you have any questions, you can call me or email me at tgennaro@ford.com

:thumbsup2 Thanks Beano.

Alright. You send me the info the address below and I will cook it up for you.

Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar, Volvo, Mazda and Land Rover are the applicable vehicle brands. No luck on the Aston Martin.

What!? Not Aston Martin!? Dang and I was just browsing their website. Ok kill the dream why don't you.

Seriously, I so appreciate the pin offer. It is very cool of you.

I will email the info to you - we will have to go out and look around this week if we can. Sounds like you need vehicle specific info and we have not really looked at anything. So just year, make and model? Are there any other restrictions we should know about - like particular model exclusions or anything? I would hate to pick out the red jag only to find out red is not included.;)

Hosting Bunco tomorrow night. Anyone wanna play?

The PIN only works on New Vehicles, other than that, there is not really a make and model restriction.

Sweet. Thanks again.

Looks like Ford or Volvo. But I will let you know as soon as I can. The earliest we can get out is Friday night. And the closest Volvo Dealer is 35 minutes away.

But we will work on it.

Look!! I actually posted before RJ and Betsy!:woohoo: Today is definitely a coffee day!:surfweb: Starbucks here I come.

Have a great day!

what are you doing up at the crack of dawn!!

Tell me about it.

Have to take husband to train station. Hims got no car. It's raining here and not even I would make DH walk to train station in the rain.

I am so sweet I am.:cutie:

And don't you hate it when on the third day of getting up at the crack of dawn you get him to buy you a vanilla latte from the little coffee place at the station and THEY FORGET THE VANILLA thus making the coffee undrinkable.:sad2:

So now - no coffee. :sad2:

I wonder if the line at Starbucks will be out the door again today? Let's see it's Friday, it's raining...I don't stand a chance!

Have a great Friday everyone!! And where is everyone anyways? And why were we on page 3? PAGE 3 I SAY!! That is just not right.
