Early dining

We've always done late dining so this is a change for us. But we are linking with some friends so that should be lots of fun.
I can't decide about the fish extenders. I did them on our last cruise in 2007 & had fun putting together goodies, but I shipped a box to the ship that time. It also felt like it took forever to find everyone's room. Worried with the new ship being so much larger that it might take even longer. What are everyone's thoughts?

Nope, not the only one on this cruise...

Question of the day - Are people bringing two costumes for this B2B (1 pirate and 1 Halloween)?

Hi this is my first cruise and I will be sailing October 29th, do we need to bring costume? I can't wait!:cheer2:

Grammye, for sure on the 29th (are you sailing on the Wonder 30th or the Magi 29th) cruise there will be a halloween event and costumes will fit right in.

I would think it would be ok even with a bigger ship. I would just do them a few a day vs. all one day. Target a specific section of the ship or a few floors and do those and then do a few more the next day.

Are you sailing on the Disney Dream? The Dream leaves on Oct. 27th for a 3-night cruise. As Pj said, the Magic sails on the 29th for a 7-night cruise.

Hello everyone! My family and I just booked this cruise. It'll be just the three of us -- me, my DH and my DD (6). We are not doing a B2B, just this one little cruise this time. On a whim I looked at my DD's school schedule for next year and realized that we can do this cruise and a few days in the Parks after and she would only miss 1 1/2 days of school. I couldn't pass it up. Especially since I had made a placeholder reservation for the Dream on the Wonder last November.

:welcome: Hi Kim! My family and I are just doing the 10/27 cruise also.

Would you like me to put your info on the Roll Call in post #2?

Welcome Kim and family, love that you are able to swing a chance to cruise on the Dream and the requirements of a school calendar. I hear it can be a real headache.

Hello Everyone!! I am excited to be joining you fellow diser's. I will be getting married during this cruise! :yay: It is me, Lisa (37), DF, Quincy (37), our son, Johnathan and my step-son, Tyrin (both will be 16). There will be a total of 25 of us sailing. We are just taking this cruise as it fits into the school schedule for the boys. They only have to miss one day!

Can't wait to chat more with all of you.

Congratulations! I was originally planning a vow renewal on this cruise for my 10 anniversary but decided to cancel and do a b2b instead.

hope you have a wonderful wedding. Are you going to get married on the ship or on Castaway Cay?

:welcome: Lisa and Congratulations!

My DS, Brendan will be almost 16 when we cruise.

If you want your info on the Roll Call let me know.

Welcome Lisa and family and family to be. I love DCL weddings, perhaps we can seek a peek if it done in a location similar to the aft deck 7 on the classic ships, where you could watch from deck 8 and deck 9.

Thank you everyone.

Sandy you can add us to the roll call! We (Quincy & I, the boys are with my uncle in a different room!!) are in room 6690 and have early dinner and who knows what show. I am not sure if I like having an assigned time!

I am having an onboard ceremony. So far the only location is in the Outlook Bar. I am hoping that they will find an outdoor location before my wedding date. Keep your fingers crossed. Onlookers would be welcome ;). We are getting married the afternoon we are in the Bahamas.

I look forward to getting to know everyone!

:welcome: Lacey and Congratulations to you too!!! Glad to see more people joining our group.

Is anyone else following the threads about port check-in times and boarding numbers? I don't think anyone knows what's going on. I also read a thread yesterday about the show times and dinner times changing. I hope they get this all figured out way before our cruise.
