Hey guys, just jumping on the thread. We had this one booked for some time now, but were over on the 10/23/11 thread. This will be the second cruise of our B2B.

It will be me (Jeff), DW (Suz), and DS11. We have early dining.

If there is an FE exchange planned, count us in. Not sure if one has been set up or not.

I am Clancy, DW is Amie, DD (5) is Taylor, and DD (2) is Shawnessy.

This will be our first Disney Cruise. I went twice way back when Disney worked with Premier but that was back in the 90s. I just introduced DW to cruising last year with a 4 day down to Cozumel and then we decided to include a Disney cruise in our vacation this year.

Sorry, haven't posted in a while! Not only have I been busy planning our first Disney cruise (and my first cruise ever!), but I am also in the middle of planning our Disney Fairytale Wedding that will take place a few days before we set sail! I am slightly stressed, but super excited! I will try to post more often!!!!!!!!!

How is the planning coming along. I have been busy with our at home reception.

Since I really want to participate in a FE exchange...I will volunteer to organize the list with staterooms. I am new at this so any guidance would be appreciated. Please keep in mind that this will also be my wedding cruise as me and DF will be getting married on 10/28. I will see if my cousin, Firefighter Chris will help with a FE meet for any stateroom changes once onboard as I will not be able to do that part because of things for the wedding preparations.

Sandy~ would you be able to include something with the roll call telling people to PM me if they want to be part of the FE. I think it would make it easier for them to find

Is anyone good with making signs for your door? Maybe someone can come up with a logo for our cruise that we can make a magnet out of? Any volunteers????

Ok this is a little old school but we have good walkie-talkies (two way radio's). This have been useful as recently as last year staying at the Paradise Pier and touring the Disneyland Parks.

Are they allowed to be used on a cruise ship?

Are the two cordless phones in the room enough for a family of four on a cruise?

Walkies work fine... I have a set that we use for every cruise. Cell phones would also work but the roaming fees will kill ya.

The cordless phones in the room is a neat idea.. Don't work that well, as they are only in silent mode and the vibrate is not very strong unless you strap it to you skin. I never got my wife to answer as the phone was always in her bag where she never heard/felt it vibrate.

The Walkies sqawk so that always got her attention (when she remembered to turn it back on after a movie or show ). Course, I would never have mine off..

The draw back is that batteries tend to get eaten... The plus is that the walkies work even during the excursions into town where the room phones did not...

I've done past cruise magnets/logos. I have a crazy amount of Disney wallpapers and such, I will share a couple and let everyone see if they like my style and then could work up a few options at home tonight.

Well since Goofy4Ever volunteered me, I will start planning out a dis meet while onboard. I have a few ideas, and later this week, I will post my ideas. I guess I should start reading the boards a little more often. Lol. I can not wait for this cruise / vacation!

Your Alaska signs are great! I'd love to see what you come up with for our cruise, so why don't you go ahead and do the logo sign.
