My DS just woke up for school. Then he asked... did you get all our favorite restaurants? grrrrrrrrrr

Hi Jennie! It's lori from the last photoshare:thumbsup2 Sorry i don't have your answer but thought I would say hi...looks like we will be in the world the same time again this year!
Good luck today :surfweb:;)

lori

Does anyone know if the BBB, boats, etc. switched to 180 days, also?

I got conflicting reports when speaking with CMs this past week. :goodvibes

Hopefully when we all bombard the phones in 17 minutes, everyone will be extra nice to these CMs who are going to have one hell of a day.:hippie::hippie:

Agreed!- these poor souls are just trying to make a living- they did not design today's operations and will more then earn their money today- patience, manners and understanding!

Time to get ready for work. Good luck everybody. I hope everyone gets what they want for ressies, and PLEASE remember to be nice to the CMs you talk to on the phone. They didn't create this system, install this system, or implement (rather miserably) this system. Just like none of us who work for enormous corporations want to be blamed for the decisions our employers make, please don't take it out on them! Be nice and brighten their days- they are going to have rough ones.

Ok - off my soap box now! Good luck again.

very good points! they'll have a rough day

anyone know from calling yesterday am what time Disney is on? My computer says it is 48 after now... is disney behind or ahead? want to get in early on the phone lines

Start calling at 58 or 59, you'll get a "closed" message and can redial til you get through.

Ridiculous. They knew this was going to happen.
So what they should have done was simply take the online system down for a week or so, until the transition was completed.

I know folks would love for them to have beefed up the system to withstand 89 times as much volume all on one day, but that is utterly ridiculous, and a completely unreasonable expectation.

I also know folks would love for them to have crafted some complicated staged one-more-day-at-a-time scheme that only doubled load instead of multiplied it by 89, but if they did that then there would be folks here complaining about that instead.

Perhaps the only valid contention would be that they should have left it at 90 days forever.

I'll second that!!!

Great sentiments!! :)

Not only did I take today off, I took this week off because I had so much vacation time left!!! Some vacation this is going to be....trying to make adr's!!!!!

I got no availability for CRT for lunch at 5:59 until around 6:05 when it all crashed. I am just hoping I can call in and get it. It is for DD's birthday.

When are they going to have the schedule up so that we can really plan our vaca...now it is a shot in the dark....don't know when the parks are going to be open.

My 3 month old baby, who decided that last night would be a fantastic night to sleep 9+ hours & counting, is going to wake up and want to nurse at 7am - I guarantee it! This is going to be one hell of a phone call.

No, they should have done a gradual "tiered" system for the conversion. That would have saved a lot of this headache and hassle...for us AND them!

AHHHHHH 2 hours of sleep lost for nothing!!!! I need lots of coffee pronto! Heading to work to deal with the H1N1 and a bunch of patients...EEKKKK
