**October 27 2009, 180 Day Reservation Thread**

Thank the Lord it's my day off. I slept less than 4 hours last night. As soon as I get the kids off to school I am going back to sleep! I will try again when I wake up later this morning.
 
Hopefully when we all bombard the phones in 17 minutes, everyone will be extra nice to these CMs who are going to have one hell of a day.:hippie::hippie:
 

Does anyone know if the BBB, boats, etc. switched to 180 days, also?

I got conflicting reports when speaking with CMs this past week. :goodvibes
 
I can't believe it crashed before 6:30am. I got up over an hour early for nothing! Now, I have to wait until the kiddies go to scholl because yhe phone lines don't open up till then and the kids will be up in a few minutes. The trip is a surprise that we will reveal on Christmas Day and I don't want to blow it by them hearing me on the phone making dining ressies.
 
Bright side here -

With the delay in booking ADRs, I can now wait for the March hours to be loaded. That will help me decide what time my ressies will be when the system opens again.


good point...hope we get something today!

Thank you - this will be my and DDs first trip to Disney and I don't have the lingo down. I too feel pretty silly for sleeping so poorly to make sure I got up and came into work for this! (I also have little ears at home so that's why I'm at the office) Argh

Nope! I think that you should ALL just wait until tommorrow morning to call! I'll be happy to be the one to call today and will report back when the system is up and running -- just wait for my post before calling, ok?!?! ;)

I believe it actually crashed before it even got up and running...prior to 6am. That must be a new record! :rotfl:
 
well, enough of this for a while! :headache: need to go get myself cleaned up and get the kids stuff ready for school! Might have to wait until after I drive them to school to do this. :upsidedow
 
What's funny/ironic is that today is my 90 day mark, if only I was checking in one day earlier, I could have saved myself some of this :(

This is my thrid time up these morning. My last 45 minutes of sleep end with truly, no-lie night mares about not getting my reservations, dealing with my 3 year old want to play on the computer, the pwer cord coming off, etc. Crazy, but I would rather do this now then later. During our 2008 trip, we didn't make all our ressies and were frustrated during our vacation to get dining reservations - thus I'm UP now.
 
Well, here I am, with the rest of you, tired, cranky, and wondering why Disney didn't think about the server overload. I thought that the staggering of the reses was a great idea. Too bad Disney doesn't have the foresight that the DIS does. :rotfl: Next time let's tip off the IT Dept. that they should check out the DIS before implementing any new plan. :lmao:

Guess I will keep on trying online b/c I don't have 2 hours to hold on the phone. :lmao:
 
anyone know from calling yesterday am what time Disney is on? My computer says it is 48 after now... is disney behind or ahead? want to get in early on the phone lines
 
Time to get ready for work. Good luck everybody. I hope everyone gets what they want for ressies, and PLEASE remember to be nice to the CMs you talk to on the phone. They didn't create this system, install this system, or implement (rather miserably) this system. Just like none of us who work for enormous corporations want to be blamed for the decisions our employers make, please don't take it out on them! Be nice and brighten their days- they are going to have rough ones.
