I almost feel sorry for the CMs that will have to deal with us in 20 min. Almost. Not REALLY, but almost.
 
Should I even bother calling at 7am or can I go back to bed? Anyone know if it's the same system for the CMs on the phone?
 

Does anything think the online system will be back up again sometime today, or are we SOL for a few days?

They should have known that the system couldn't handle it, since it couldn't handle the comparatively small high-volume rush when Christmas week opened. Obviously they did little or nothing to resolve that between then and now, so until people just give up and volume drops back to normal levels I have no reason to believe the system will be functional.

Ayyyyeeee, Yayyyyye, Yayyyyye ... how frustrating!!! I am a TA and have nothing for my pooor clients!!!! :sad2::sad2::sad2:
 
My calendar dates for April still haven't updated. I have a basic plan but wanted to check for sure.....

I definitely feel sorry for them. It is NOT their fault at all. The people in charge who made this decision and the idiots in IT won't be answering calls from upset guests, poor schmuck CMs who have nothing to do with decision making or IT will answer the calls.
 
Current Error Message for me:


This is the error message that I got on the 21st when I logged on to make my reservation, and the computers were also down for CMs when I called in at 7am.

:mad: Don't say that!!! Disney come on...get your act together.

Well DD is staying home again from school sick so I guess I will be on the phone trying to get through all day then.
 
Go directly to the dining screen and you will be able to put in your resort reservation number there to make your dining reservations
Alot of people make the mistake of trying to pull up their resort reservation first then go into the dining system. If you booked through a TA this way won't work for you.

You're kidding, right? Do you think there's any way the site is going to work today?
 
Not happy. I swear I haven't slept yet tonight because of this. Soon my sick kids will be up. Yippee!

Oh, and this was supposed to be a surprise. So, how can I do this on the phone? (I've got little ears listening)
 
I would just like to thank the DIS for making sure THIS site can handle the volume this morning...I am a lot calmer knowing we're all in the same boat together.
 
What really sucks is I've got to make a Breathless ressie at the same time when phones open!
 
I called out of work for the AM but I have to leave here at 10:00. I HOPE everything is upa nd working by then!

I wish I took the whole day off now!
 
Same here! I'm using foxfire. What if a TA booked your room ressies for you? She told me I wouldn't be able to retrieve my room ressies?:headache: Anyone know what to do?:confused3 I need CRT and on the dining plan?:sick:

You won't be able to pull up your room reservation in "my disney vacation" but you should be able to pull it up through the dining reservations. I was able to, well, before this morning's disaster that is...
 
Bright side here -

With the delay in booking ADRs, I can now wait for the March hours to be loaded. That will help me decide what time my ressies will be when the system opens again.

You're kidding, right?

Why would I be kidding - yes the system isn't working right now but I was answering the question for the person that asked how they can make their own dining reservations even though they booked through a TA?

am still getting this message. Looks like it will be counter service all week for school vacation week. uggh!

No one is getting through so odds are good you will still get reservations for everything you want. Key today is patience! Only a small percentage of the people going to Disney even know that you can do ADRs today so after the inital crush and panic first thing in the morning, my guess is everything will calm down and people will be able make reservations without issue later today or tomorrow.

This reminds me of the Filene's Bridal Gown Sale where everyone tries to rush the door all at once and just starts grabbing gowns!
