Disney has nice new, very comfy sheets, lol. There were threats of streaking during the wedding on my last cruise, but you came a lot closer then we did, lol.

PJ , It was a Carnival ship , guess thats why they call them the fun ships. O.K heres the low down on this cruise. I just met Barry through a news paper ad, YES, a newspaper ad, I posted . "Looking for a old fashioned type, that loves the outdoors and travel." Two weeks after we met I ask him would you like to go on a cruise with me. So yes here I am with my old -fashioned outdoor man. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyone have an opinion about eating times..... I think we are going to take the earlier sitting, but I didn't know it was an option for the girls to not eat with us... So I don't know what sitting to take really....

How does that work?

( I will pace my posts soon ;) )

I currently have late seating but torn on what to do....

My son LOVED being able to eat with the club group. We never had lunch together and only 2 of the 4 dinners! He thought it was very cool that he was in charge of his food choice, how fast he ate, etc... :lmao:

If the girls are in the club during lunch or dinner... they eat as a group! They take the kids to whatever restaurant is closed and open a section JUST for them. They are waited on hand and foot and my little guy felt like a "KING"!

Did anyone fly by themselves and yet still use the ground transfers with Disney.

Our dilema is that we want a few days in Disney World first. Actually I don't know if we will do the actual parks as I can't find any deals.. (heading over to the budget board) Sigh...this is just crazy..so much to decide..

Now I know why people pick Travel Agents. The TA's I have talked to have not been able to surpass any prices from actual disney... It is so frustrating... And then I wonder if I would rather go on the repo cruise.. Not that we can afford all of it over again..then I have to really wonder if I would have fun just by myself...so then I think there has to be something fun to do...

Umm just for the record I am totally not a whiner..

We are flying in on Thursday and have opted out of the ground transfers... I'm a control freak and want to get to the port as early as possible and on the ship as soon as possible! I've rented a town car... several actually... one for us at the airport to the resort, a second one at the airport to pick up Sarah (our sitter) the next day ... then one to take us to the port and return us to the airport when it's all over!!:sad1:

Sweet Disney Dreams everyone... Shhhhhh! Noah's asleep! :tiptoe:

Kimmilee , Barry and I didn't know this. I'm sure Holly and McKenna will be so excited. As long as they have Smuckers PB&J's. :)

K, I think you said that Noah was a bit younger than O will be when she hits the cruise. She is fairly independant so I am sure she would have fun as well.
So if I opt for the late sitting would people be older and annoyed if my girls are there? Ugg I am so confused about the clubs..How do I figure out what time they should be in the club. Are there hour restrictions or do they do the same program all over again.

The travel thing is confusing the heck out of me. We really don't know what to do. We are flying out of canada (I already said that) and flights right now are impossible. I think that it might be better to opt out of the ground transfers and maybe rent a vehicle? Sigh.....how hard is it to drive around... We are from fairly small town, so I am thinking that I should perhaps marry D before we go down there or the directions and me playing a direction giver might cause a divorce before we even get married!

I really don't think that we will have the money to do Disneyland in the three days before the cruise. Will we need to pay for a day at the MK so that we can go to the MNSSHP?

Where are people staying for the nights before and what kind of rates are you getting? Is it best to book now? Or should I wait? We are hoping to fly out of here on Monday or Tuesday. We might have to drive across the border but then what.....get stuck flying out of small town North Dakota. And driving .... I can't fathom how much and how long that would take... I am in a panic...

Deep cleansing breath! In through the nose and out through the mouth! You sound EXACTLY like I did before my first WDW trip!

Let me see, my son and I are driving down the Thursday before and are staying at POFQ. We are going to the park that Friday and the MNSSHP that Friday night. I'm going to drive myself to the port but will be following Kimmielee's ride so I won't get lost. I guess that means I'll have to get up at the butt crack of dawn also! If you go to the MNSSHP only, you only have to pay for the party ticket. I think they start letting ppl in around 430.

There will be kids at all seatings. Some folks will be on different time schedules so I wouldn't worry too much about when you eat. Do what is right for you and your family.

Most of all, don't forget it's a vacation. Things will go wrong, things will not be as planned and things will be forgotten. All of the above will be OK as long as you remember your passport, tickets, money and family:lmao: ! As you can see in ohso's post, you can even improvise if you forget your clothes! pirate:

Be Afraid , be very afraid.
The things i post dear lord, my husband would die!:rotfl2:

Please note this is early in the morning, probally still had a hangover and it was 8 years ago long before our kids.I didn't think anyone would be up at 5:30 but I was soooooo mistaken :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :happytv: :lmao: :rotfl2: :happytv:

Ya'll have got to be the funnest ( I know that isn't a word but it fits) couple on this thread so far. :woohoo:

Off to work with me pixiedust:

Paula is right. I think we all went through that Oh My God what if's? It is your vacation sit back think, Happy thoughts, Happy thoughts , Happy thoughts .
We are staying as of right now at All Star Movies it is the cheapest it's around $99.99 a night. We may however, because I have this upgraded myself sickness, move over to POFQ which was about $75.00 more a night but since we are taking the transfers it would be easier to leave from there since the DCL bus picks up at that resort.

You have lots of choices and Disney is VERY VERY good about making things easy for everyone. My Mom and Dad have been reading that damn Disney brouchure for 3 weeks now, 3 WEEKS ! I think it is all of 15 pages. :confused3 So it's not just you :)

Good Morning everyone :sunny: . Have a wonderful day.
Off to work for me.

Working from home today.....slept till 11:30am trying to knock out this dreadful cold.

Could someone share how LONG dinner takes. I am sure my DD8 (by cruise time) would LOVE eating without us and making her own choices, but I also thought it would be nice to eat as a family. Do the kids who eat with the club just wear whatever?? If you have late dinner then you do shows early right?? and visa-versa? SHEESH I need to go look at a navigator to see what DD will be doing when. All I know is that I want to play BINGO! and I want to see my DD8 atleast for a little while each day. I guess I shouldn't just suspect that she will love the club, but she loves going to the nursery at the YMCA, I can't imagine she would be unhappy in a club just for her especially if we can hook her up with some of your wonderful children. How many of you guys are going to MNSSHP?? We weren't planning on going but if that would give our DD a chance to meet up with some kiddo's before the cruise maybe we should fit it in.Ok now that I have asked enough ?? to keep you all busy for awhile I guess I will get back to work.:teacher:

We will be going to MNSSHP. (how much is it? adding it to my budget)

Hotels. What is offsite vs. onsite. There are a lot of hotels for $30 each a night etc....but how hard is it going to be to get to Port Canaveral.

I just got quoted through Dreams Unlimited and it is the same price as Disney but there is a $75 shipboard credit... has anyone used them? Advantages..disadvantages to using a TA....?
Can I still make changes? I am booking the cruise today (or I debate tomorrow just for the whole purpose of searching for one more discount I keep putting it off)

Ummmm some help with the abbreviation....?

I just don't know if the $269 is worth it really for the ground transfers..
