Ummmm some help with the abbreviation....?

I just don't know if the $269 is worth it really for the ground transfers..

Ahh, DIS Board-speak. It is like learning a 2nd language. :thumbsup2 Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ). DW and I have even been using these abbreviations when we talk WDW to each other. And I sometimes do it at work. The other Disney folks just sort of give me that look....:confused3
We've done both cruises with a TA. But I did our 2003 WDW trip myself. Even our CR (Contemporary Resort) getaway, when I used a TA, I only used them for the room and 1 day park ticket. Using or not can vary based on price, how much work you want to do yourself, etc.

WDW planning stress: just remember, getting there is half the fun. And don't forget: the planning is the part that doesn't cost money! Unlike the trip itself. I'm sure most of the Moon Cruisers (perhaps this group name is appropriate? :rolleyes1 ) have lists of all sorts of Disney things they'd love to do. I know we do: BC 7-night, Double-dip DCL, Panama Canal Repo, AKL multiple night stay, WDW visit when the Holiday decorations are up.

In closing, we're coming up on a special time of year. Soon the 2007 Passporter Guide to the DCL will be available. Christine and I have found it to be of great value. We even bought one last year, when we weren't cruising. Well worth the money. Between that and the DIS, you don't need anything else. :disrocks:

Oh trust me on this... I am incredibly grateful for everyone's help! I have faith that I will figure it out ASAP. I guess i need to beg for some patience.
I am almost talking myself out of the few days before. It is just difficult because we can't book our flights yet.....and yet we can't book our hotel until we know the flights. That being said now I wonder if Amtrak might be a decent alternative. We will see I suppose.

POFQ hmm very cool.

Well, just be glad you don't have to worry about Tony Two Fingers from down at the deli coming to collect. Right??:scared1:

:rotfl2: No, no Tony, we call ours The God Father

We rejoined the gym today, thank goodness since I have been eatting gallons of ice cream this week , Friendlys chocolate this and that. Strange how you all of a sudden notice the extra pounds almost overnight. Funny, I don't remember that fat being there yesterday :confused3

The girls and I are are breaking out the Disney Scene it now. Holly is amazing good at this, McKenna gets so frustrated because she says I know, I know, I know, 10 times before she spits out the answer , of coarse by then Holly has already answered :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a great day :)

I read that at disney shopping their mickey luggage is on super sale everyone should check it out..unless you are canadian then you can't take advantage of any of the good stuff.lol:cool1:

I have to clean my house, mop the floors and get all the dust bunnies out from under the couch! I'm getting my tile floor regrouted tomorrow in the bathrooms, kitchen and living room! I'm being FORCED to clean! All this needs to be done by 0800! Yes, I knew about it this weekend when I was at the casino, but hey, we all have our priorities right?pirate:

Just came in from taking the :dogdance: for a walk. WOW it was cold out there..but she needed some excercise & so did I.

Mr Gent,
Saw video of a container ship off the coast of England on the news tonight. Seems its in a bit of a tight spot. Some containers have gone overboard, and are washing up on shore. The mentioned a motorscooter, camcorders, and other nice things. And that it was PERFECTLY LEGAL :woohoo: for the folks on the shore to make off with the goods. As long as they claimed it on their tax returns. If this is true, could your DIS friends send you some shopping lists?

Has anyone used or heard of Disney Inkshop? I found their website accidently buy it looks neat, seems you can "create" personalized shirts. I put the link below if anyone is interested. I do not know anything about them.

I went back a few pages and only saw the double dip question.... which page and I'll be happy to answer! We NEVER leave questions unanswered... it's Paula's fault for going to the casino this weekend... :rolleyes1

Thanks for the link I'll check it out now!:goodvibes

I like the idea of the Disney ink shop, but they use the on white transfer sheets, you would think that a big buiness like this would also have on dark transfer sheets. This means, you pick a blue shirt and put Donald on it, you have a blue Donald, not a white Donald. Stick with white shirts on this site.

That sounds fun.....our next little trip is to Nashville the weekend after Valentines Day. It won't be warm but it'll be fun!!

Working from home today.....slept till 11:30am trying to knock out this dreadful cold.

Could someone share how LONG dinner takes. I am sure my DD8 (by cruise time) would LOVE eating without us and making her own choices, but I also thought it would be nice to eat as a family. Do the kids who eat with the club just wear whatever??
Dinner can take 60 - 90 minutes... even longer if you linger over dessert... or two... or three... :lmao: The kids wear shorts/whatever when in the club... so they take them to dinner in what they are wearing. They transfer the kids from the clubs to the restaurants via hidden hallways... they are TOTALLY protected from outsiders. That's why they eat in whatever restaurant is closed... so they aren't exposed to adults!

If you have late dinner then you do shows early right?? and visa-versa? SHEESH I need to go look at a navigator to see what DD will be doing when. All I know is that I want to play BINGO! and I want to see my DD8 atleast for a little while each day. I guess I shouldn't just suspect that she will love the club, but she loves going to the nursery at the YMCA, I can't imagine she would be unhappy in a club just for her especially if we can hook her up with some of your wonderful children.
Yes, on the vice-versa question. I saw Noah each day... made sure he had some time out in the fresh air... but watched the Kid's activities and made sure I wasn't trying to drag him out of an activity he was looking foward to!

How many of you guys are going to MNSSHP?? We weren't planning on going but if that would give our DD a chance to meet up with some kiddo's before the cruise maybe we should fit it in.
Quite a few of us are doing MNSSHP - you should join us!!! The more the merrier and the sooner the kids get face time, the more comfortable they will be with one another! You know kids... they are "instant" friends! Somehow, I think that's going to be true of many of us! :grouphug:

RH, do not take the transfers, use that money to book a van from FL-tours, transport board sponsor, Happy limo or other car service. You then get to pick the pick up time and location. I think you can do a van for under $250 WDW to PC to MCO or any round trip combination.
