Join on in the fun! I'd like to do a trick or treat! I'll be eating like a cow anyway, might as well add some candy to the mix. Oh, wait a minute, you were talking about kids only! LOL! :smokin: Well, I'll be dressed up for pirate night, can we trick or treat as adults? pirate:

If any of you are having the pre-cruise blues, go to the other cruise meets threads that are leaving in a few days and read. It's great to read of all the excitement we have to look forward to! Have a good day! pirate:

Wow! It's cold here today too! At least it's better than yesterday. Both kids were out of school due to the tornadoes the night before. Can you think of anything more fun than sitting inside all day with a 7 year old and a 2 year old? Ha! Yesterday was a looooong day!

I would love to trick or treat on the cruise too! We'll have to talk more about this.

Hope everyone has a magical day!

party: Since I bought the new Jeep... we are driving to KY instead of flying next week so I just exchanged those tickets for October 25th, 2007 to Orlando!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :dance3:

Just have to buy Sarah's ticket and oh... yeah... pay for the cruise... lol :rotfl2:

Chris... does your wife have you locked up and grounded? Where or where is our Fat English Gent that makes me spit coffee on the screen in the mornings? :confused3

I am sooo ready for this weekend. I have a sitter for the WHOLE weekend :woohoo: and I'm treating myself to a weekend of shopping, shopping and more shopping!! I'm going to do Noah's gifts for Christmas, :santa: some clothes for me.... and I know, don't shoot me... having dinner with the ex-boyfriend. He's so not an option but darn, hard to stay away.... He's coming home from Seattle and says we have to "catch up". Hmmmmmm.... he's surely gotten wind that there may have been someone else. Do men have radar??? :ssst: I swear, every time there is even a HINT of another relationship he appears out of nowhere. :flower3:

Ok, so what's everyone else doing? I need Christmas ideas for our boys that are 7 now... what do your boys want?

Noah wants Heelys... which aren't allowed at school so that's not an option. He loves music and saw a keyboard on tv..."Momma, that would be good to play with my guitar!" :rockband:

Help!!!

Ethan wants Heely's, uh, no! He's clumsy enough as it is. Since I was picked to be in Indiana Jones' Adeventure thing at WDW he's been obsessed with it. I found an action figure online and got it. He's getting some Xbox games, DVD's, football players, a new bike and a portable DVD player. He wants me to go out and buy a "movie van". I told him that they cost too much money but I'd like one too. I was pricing Pathfinders with DVD in them and almost fell out of my chair! Being a single mom it's hard to spend that much on a car! I could do it, but we wouldn't be cruising next year, or until the thing was paid off, so he'll just have to deal with one that hangs on the seat!
I heard about the tornadoes! Glad y'all are OK down there. We had 2 kids flown to us that were in the house that exploded in Sumrall. Scary stuff!
Hope y'all have a good day! pirate:

I was wondering if you would know anything about the kids that got sent to Jackson. That was terrible. A friend of mine is the school nurse at Sumrall Elementary, so she knew a lot about it.

Logan wants Heely's for Christmas too. Haven't decided if we'll get them or not. He also wants a new set of golf clubs, some moon shoes, xbox games, and a bunch of other stuff. He's got quite the list going!

I've got a friend that goes to the auction for cars (you probably know him!) He got us an Expedition at a great price! We love it!

I just bought a Pathfinder! I'm about to throw up because I don't do well with big purchases! Oh well, I love it so far, but I haven't had to fill the tank up! LOL!

:cheer2:  :Pinkbounc :cool1: :woohoo: :dance3: :yay:

Good for you!!! Is it a movie/van like Ethan requested? :rotfl2: I'm headed out today to buy a portable DVD player for my Jeep for our trip to KY next week.

As for filling up the tank.... that was a shocker for me too. The tanks are bigger and the gas goes a little more quickly... but I LOVE  my new Jeep!!

Way to go Paula!!!!

Congratulations on your new car! And, good luck with your first fillup! :rotfl2: Mine gets a whopping 14 mpg, and cost between $60-$75 to fill up, depending on prices. Somedays I just stay home! LOL

No, it doesn't have the movie system in it. My ex-husband works at the dealership where I got it so he knows where to take it to have one installed. My child wants to have it mounted in the seat in front of him. He has some expensive taste! I wonder where he gets that from?
We are about to head to Starkville for the last home game of the season so I'll see how much I really like it. I made them give me a moment to say goodbye to my maxima. I had wanted that car since they first changed the bodystyle. I had it for 2 years so I guess I had my fun in it but I really needed more room with Ethan in the boy scouts now and wantint to go camping. I'm not scared to take the Pathfinder off-road. I bet it's going to be a little more comfortable when we drive to WDW next year! pirate:

Oh my gosh... I had an amazing day.... Noah's Christmas presents from Santa are all bought, wrapped and hidden in my Brother's attic. :woohoo: I bought him Heely's (I must admit... it's the item at the top of his list... I gave in)... a robotic dog (way too cute)... several GI Joes... Scene It - Disney version... and other gifts too. I had such a great day!!

I did manage to leave a few gifts for my family to buy him! :rolleyes1

I also bought a portable DVD player for our drive to KY next week. I think I got a great deal on a solid machine. Based on his age, the salesperson told me to avoid the swivel screens and the one's that go flat...

Dinner with the ex was interesting... I've always said I'll either kill him or marry him... and I'm not marrying him! :rotfl2:

One last thing... I JOINED the gym today too!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: I'm going to be in such good shape for our cruise! :dance3:

Ok, I'm off to bed... I'm exhausted!!

Glad you had a good day "off" from parenting!
Mississippi State lost, but it was a great game. We are improving. We stayed tied with the number 5 team in the country until half time and then lost in the 4th quarter. I'm proud of them.

I took my "new" Pathfinder. WOW! Why in the hell did I wait so long to get one? Oh, the gas, that's why! I LOVE it! We had to park in an area that was kinda muddy and I wouldv'e been scared the Maxima would slide or get stuck. My Pathfinder went right in it and never looked back! Ethan loves it and keeps asking about the DVD mounted in the back of the seat in front of him. I going to get him the portable one that hangs on the headrest. I don't see any reason to spend $1000 for that when I can get a portable one for about $160!

I have to clean this house today and do some laundry. It's a short week for me. I'll be off Thursday but will work overtime as a staff nurse in the ER Friday. They are paying time and a half plus $10 and hour since they are so short. Talk about mooola! I'll be doing that until I get my room at WL paid off and of course the cruise. I don't want to have to worry about a thing on our vacation!

Have a good Sunday! pirate:

I have an older Infinity QX4 I took in through The woods last week chasing Dirt bikes. Today we are taking my grandughter to Rutgers for a gym meet she is 11 and she compets in level 9. Needs alittle pixiedust: Have a good day everone :thumbsup2 :sunny: ;) :goodvibes :)

Then you know what I mean about not being scared to take it off road! My Pathfinder is basically a QX4 minus the luxury things. How long have you had yours? Do you still love it?

Here is a :cheer2: and some pixiedust: for your grand-daughter!

Babs I hope your granddaughter did well today! :cheer2: pixiedust: I can't wait to meet you! You have more adventures than I do! :goodvibes

Vital - I am still in the honeymoon phase with my Jeep. I LOVE it so much. Let me know if you find a good set up for strapping the DVD to the backseat. I didn't have good luck with that. I ended up buying a case that is supposed to act like a "stand", per se... but the DVD player is so thin it just sinks into it! :rotfl2:

I bought Noah "The Wild" for the trip (it's hidden under my seat) and I bought him Happy Feet for his Nintendo DS... the sitter was supposed to take him to that movie yesterday... but... they went to see Santa Claus 3 instead! Oh well, I'm sure he'll still like the game!

I must say it again... where did Chris go??? Is he on Holiday?? :confused3
