Can you tell I'm bored tonight?

Anyway, I noticed that PJ was organizing a group of linked early dining. I'm debating as to whether to start a late dining group or if I should take my chance with whoever DCL puts us with. Last time we asked for a large table and had awesome table mates. Can lightning strike twice?

I didnt know that it was not done until 30 days out... my bad! I thought it might have been completed by now!

They don't send the passenger list to the Dinning manager, who does the seating plan (who picks a job that involves a seating plan for 2000 people three times a week?) until 30 days before sailing. So I will get it to her by Friday.

I think Pj did do a small format of dates and times and events..maybe we can just enlarge it and put more info in it and give everyone a print out of it .

Wow! That is one organized bunch. Granted it was an 11 day cruise.

Anyway, I was thinking that we should have something like this. A one stop shop for what's going on. I know we have PJ's profile but the information is still scattered in the various discussion threads.

I feel highly inadequate all of a sudden!

If, by chance, our late seating can't be changed to early... then by all means feel free to hook up Noah and I with your group! We had horrible dinner partners on our first cruise - a couple on their ANNIVERSARY trip, with NO KIDS that asked to be seated with another COUPLE. Yeah... didn't work out so well for them!

That why we ask for a big table. We've had friends on go on other cruises and ask for a table alone. They seem to always end up with a table for four. And for some reason, they always end up with people that don't speak english. Not much going on as far as dinner conversation...

OK, so Kim and I are chatting away and she tells me she's already packing. I haven't given packing a thought! I guess since it's STILL a surprise for Ethan I can't do it until the night before anyway.

Can y'all believe I've kept it a secret for over a year! I'm impressed with myself!

I think that as a CM I will automatically be put in the late seating. I would like to be with people I know.

I am still popping in and trying to read.... hoping not to miss too much!

I hope the shot work on E's strep, we finally took JT's tonsils out last year and it has been wonderful *knock on wood* since then!
It was his 3rd surgery in 4 yrs though, tubes, tubs and adnoids and then finally the tonsils.... hopefully it will mean a healthy winter this year

Well, DH has weighed in and he would like to take our chances with whoever DCL seats us with. He has a good point as it's an opportunity to meet even more people.

I agree with you about not having too many things scheduled. They seemed to have an incredible amount going on...perhaps because it was 11 days.

I just liked the idea of having the already planned stuff listed in one place.

Thanks for the well wishes for Ethan. He says he still feels like crap because his medicine has worn off, but his fever is gone. I'm sure he'll be back to himself in no time!

Oy! Really? I'm not about to start packing yet (though I admit that I've started outfit list in an effort to make sure I have all I need) but I wouldn't want to park the night before. I would be destined to forget something. I'll probably pack the week leading up to. Can you hide the piles of what you're going to pack in the closet or something?

That is awesome! It looks great! I'm sending a PM with some more information. I wasn't going to do a door magnet but I think I'll put this on the door (once it's complete).

One thought is to perhaps use the "Our Gang" section as a sort of roster which includes staterooms for those interested. Then people know where you are if you're trying to meet up.
