Doesn't Kimmie have a roster with everyone's names? :) I seem to remember her updating it and posting it every time someone new posted here.......

Of course, my memory isn't what it used to be so I could be dead wrong here........:rotfl:

Anyhow, we're Lennie (me) and Al (DH) and we're in 2052, at least we're there until that complimentary suite upgrade comes along :rolleyes1

Thanks for all your hard work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo hoooty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! page 500 :woohoo:

:welcome: back from your cruise Tara.

PJ how did you guys do yours before to get as many people as you could?

CAN WE GO YET???????

group pictures~~~~

Thoughts on pictures..........

PIRATE NIGHT!!!!!!!! If we cannot get all together is there a way to do 2 different times..and each person can only be there once and then we can get soemone really good with pictures to soemhow join them together, or even like a collage???????????

CAST AWAY CAY Earlier would be better for us we have to be back on the ship by the time you suggested becuz we have PALO dinner.

Of course if we all cant be in the pictures like PA said that is fine too!!!

I HATE ...HATE...HATE with a passion.SCHOOL FUND RAISERS!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS MAKING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya. I'd rather write a check for $100 at the beginning of school than sell wrapping paper, cookies and stuff. UGH!

I hear ya. I'd rather write a check for $100 at the beginning of school than sell wrapping paper, cookies and stuff. UGH!

That was basically the option in my high school. I'm going to make the assumption that most seniors in high school have dues (at least the public schools) and that you guys know what I'm talking about.

For our senior class dues, there was a set amount (say $200 for argument sake). To work off the balance you could participate in selling things or get credit for working something like the food stand at a football game, bake sale, etc. When dues was collected each student was responsible to pay their personal balance (assuming they had one). It was more fair than just coming up with what was needed after all the fundraising and dividing it evenly among the students without regard of those who had worked and didn't. And those that didn't want to participate in fundraising could just write a check.

I have to say that this method worked really well for my particular class. It really encourage the students to help out with different events and as a result we had the highest grossing senior class in the history of my high school. After covering dues, no senior had to pay a dime more for any of the senior events including prom (plus prom pictures), senior class trip, yearbook signing off-site brunch, and Graduation Eve's sail dinner cruise around Manhattan. Ahh, the good old days...:goodvibes

WOW, my kids did not have any of those options, ( the ones in college), we just had to pay for everything out of pocket............

Hopefully the ones still at home will have that option.
